The bloke has spat his dummy out. Played like crap for 18 months, had to spend 20 mins on the bench and he's spat out his dummy. Not only that, he hasn't got the guts to even say anything. He gets his borderline senile 'manager' to say it. Absolutely gutless. Blokes like Fulton come off the bench regularly and you never, ever hear a word of complaint. Spineless. All respect gone.

First of all, I like how you're judging Marshall's ENTIRE character off a quote that was NOT MADE BY HIM. Do you have anything wrong with a player being upset at being benched? If I was Benji I would've been upset too, because it would have felt like the entire teams terrible form was being blamed on me. Obviously that's not the case but start looking at things with a bit of emotion. He's not a robot, he's allowed to be upset and angry at something that hurt him & it's not up to you to judge him for that.
Stop starting Benji hate threads. He's leaving now, you've got what you want, you're beating a dead horse with a stick.

Because the younger fans / kids seem to basically think we OWE this club to Benji Marshall and he is the only reason we exist. That is what breeds this mentality of "don't ever criticise him".
