He is killing it. It's your expectation that he is a marquee player that is screwed up. That post by @magpies forever was spot on.

The problem with the Brooks bashers is they try to have their cake and eat it too. Is he a marquee player ? No. So stop expecting that from him.

He is most definitely not “killing it”. Unless you mean killing the play with his fifth tackle options generally.

He’s getting 1.1 mill per season. I’d say that’s marquee money for a halfback. If he was a base wage rookie I’d temper my expectations, but he’s not. He’s a 10 year veteran on huge coin.

I expect much more than a few good long balls once in a blue moon to convince me he’s “carving up”.
