Sponsorship Costs

Hey guys, i was having a chat with my dad about possibly having our company sponsor the Tigers in some sort of manner. Does anyone have any idea in terms of the costs of a sleeve or shorts sponsorship ?

Yeah its not cheap Tony and I can't guarantee that every club is the same

A company I was involved with was a sleeve sponsor of the Cowboys

360 k mate and that's going back before they were successful

Fujitsu are also the major sponsor on one of Souths jerseys for 2015.
Shorts sponsorship would be much less than sleeves im guessing.

Why not ask Grant Mayer.

Because it is much easier to get an idea here rather than spend an age being asked a million questions and then being put on hold another 20 times.

Hey Tony, I was lucky enough to work in the sponsorship department with the Tigers a few years ago and as the others have stated your sleeve sponsorship is in the 100's of thousands but is really dependant on many factors, mostly based around how the team is travelling and therefore the market forces of supply and demand.

However the shorts in those times were more around the 80-100k mark and again dependant of front or back of shorts.

There are plenty of other sponsorship properties that you could consider though depending on what your looking at trying to achieve in terms of marketing your business such as coaches box, player sponsorship etc.

What I was getting at was that you will probably only find out the real figures by going to the bloke who deals with this at Wests Tigers, seeing all clubs would put different amounts on their sponsorships. Wasn't having a shot at you.

I think Grant Mayer would be happy to talk to any potential sponsor, so I doubt you'd get the runaround.

looked into it myself several years ago & was considering a private box which you could also get an amount of tickets to hand out to clients either to the box , grandstand or outer plus functions etc .

didn't end up doing it but it made me realise how much we are hamstrung by the size and accessibility of our stadia .

probably wont happen in my lifetime but sydney needs a rectangular 40k stadium at homebush where the current showground is and another one of maybe 50k at blacktown olympic park at rooty hill . I was in melbourne recently & sydney is so far behind them its not funny .
