Looking at the table I think we're a lock for the spoon.
I'm tying to find a positive spin but l can't do it.
Sports betting have cut the odds in half, $20 now down to $10 since yesterday so even the bookies agree.

I don't even think we can beat the hapless titans.

Exactly right - same players - I think they are good enough.

Direction and Motivation are what has changed.

You're the madunit of this forum and others people's opinions or threads are garbage because nobody's opinion matters more than yours.

Cleary or Taylor you can't run away from a roster with holes in it and no depth.

Just hoping we improve and get some direction for next year.

We shouldn't come last, however thats where we are currently.
 
I tipped us to make the 8 before the season began and im not going to change that after only 3 games.
Without JT's silly team selections we will still make it.
 
Well the question is, If our squad plays the best that they can will they make the top 8?

I think that we have the talent so I will say yes.
We sacked Taylor because he didn't motivate our players and he didn't try to get them playing to the best of their ability. If the article about Nofo is true then why couldn't he do it to the rest of our squad except for Teddy the immortal who can't get any better.

With the new coach (hopefully Cleary) they should be able to come and keep the players they want and get rid of the players they don't want. They will have the 2018 cap to spend. If they are good enough to be a NRL coach then they should be able to fix some of the defensive issues at the club. And the coach should have the guts to drop players.

I am excited to see what the new coach will do and I will look forward to a 'new' Wests Tigers
 
Unless the new coach can produce some sort of miracle, we are guaranteed the spoon. It's not that they're not trying, they just don't have what it takes to compete at this level this season.
 
Comparing games I have seen Newcastle play with our performances, I would say that we are a big chance. Our forwards get dominated, our defence is terrible, and enthusiam is down. We make fluke a couple of wins, but wont grind out too many.
 
After todays performance I'd say it's ours this year. Team isn't fit enough and its showed in all our games. Add to that coaches sacking, simonas drama and constant and endless coverage of big 4 contract negotiations our season has gone from bad to worse.

Only notable mentions so far this year have been Aloiai, McIlwrick and Ava.
