SPOONBOWL ... It's on Ladies and Gentlemen Get your Tickets.

Amazingly 15th is still a possibility. Would not have thought that possible a couple of weeks ago. Souths have a 95 point better differential but with their last 2 games being against Penrith and Roosters it wouldn't shock me if they get heavily beaten in both.

One spare ticket to spoon bowl posted on another site went in less than half an hour today.

I’m thinking it’s not too late to play the match at the Olympic stadium.

Corporates, commemorative t shirts ( like the grand final ones), membership drive, unsold jerseys on the cheap, jumping castles, arts fair, carnival games.

Squeeze some good cash out of it.

In fact in the future, we should have spoon play offs for the bottom 4 sides. More league and some fun along the way. Not that we will benefit, but I am generous.

So will we be looking at a new Death Valley ground record ?
Who would have thought that a month ago !
Death Valley 🤣 how
childish.
You still upset Cambo has got more fans in 4 games than LO has in 5?

We should be embracing that... For a team that's run last to get more than 100k to its games in a season is something to be proud of... Not mocking one half of it

Old habits die hard Ink, my old inner city mates and I , been calling it Death Valley forever, but what you say is correct.
Here ends my use of DV. One team, one dream !

It's a shame and typical of us... We finally seem to get something right (engage the local fan base) crowds have been good at our traditional homes and all our wins are from there.
Yet next year we take more games away.
Does my head in

Gives me the pips no end …we actually are starting to have some home field advantage and crowds turning up…

Dont get me started on giving up a home game for Magic Round EVERY year

Some stats, from the US:

Soccer has the largest average home advantage across leagues—ranging from a low of 60% winning rates in Asia/Africa to a high of 69.1% in US Major League Soccer.

In basketball, NBA teams win 62.7% of their home games.

International cricket teams win 60.1% of home games. In the NHL, 59% of games are won by home teams. In rugby, the win rate for home teams is 58%, while in American football, it’s 57.6%.

In the United States, Major League Baseball home teams win 54.1% of the time. In Japan’s Nippon League, that’s 53.3%.

But a really long article here, with some "Facts & Fiction"..If anyone cares to read...
