Not sure if the tigers employ one? Does anybody know. If we do, maybe we need a change. If we don't maybe it is something the should look into.
I am not saying this to rubbish the tigers because I know they will improve, just wondering if this could be a factor in our slow start?

Sports psychologists are very important in this day and age Really all they are doing is trying to empty the junk out of your head and try and simplify your thoughts and actions

The Wests Tigers used to use a sports psychologist back in the days of Wayne Pearce and Terry Lamb - Paul Smith was the guy they used back then.

Interesting question, for that matter do many of the clubs bother with psychs anymore or has that trend passed?? Why should they be needed by professional footballers, how many people need a psych on hand to get their job done properly or am I simplifying it too much??

I'm guessing it is still widely used especially for the players were technical issues are involved ie Benji with his goalkicking for example

Cricketers ,golfers tennis players still widely use sports psychologists for these type of stuff about going to techniques to work under pressure for example

It is a fascinating chat to speak to a sports psychologists

Dr Phil Jauncey is a brilliant sports psychologist… My last session with him was about 10 years ago, and I can still recall & use some of the basic foundations he talks about.
