A few good players, yes, but overall a pretty poor team.

That team listed there will not make the finals.

So...if we really believe we are a top 8 team, we need to win.

The good players are very very good.

Would that be the old has beens no one should buy..?

I'm confident we'll get them, they've got some good individuals but I think we've got more strike in us.

I also think we have a better balance and will work more effectively as a team. Can’t wait, bring on Sunday.

This game is going to come down to the battle of the packs. If Walters can provide good service our pack will roll through their middle easily which will give Brooks and Benji the space and opportunity to fire up our backline.

Kicking will also play a big factor. Lomax is suspect under the high ball and average at goal line scrambling.

If we can get that right we'll win.

I’ve watched Trent Merryn carve us up many times. Hope those days are gone.

Better team than they are being given credit for. Quite strong pack. Good test first up.

6 through 12 are very good - very dangerous.

The rest are terrible.

Not as bad as I thought they'd put up considering they have injuries.

Lots of shaky hands at the back. Kick at Lomax and Ravalawa all night long. Very good forward pack but we beat that forward pack pretty easily last year, and our pack is better this year

McInnes is a big loss for them

Tough game at Wollongong but if we can hold their edge back rowers in Sims and Frizelle and get over the top of Paul Vaughan we will win this game. On paper they have 4 origin players and we have none. Tigers have the better side and better coach but the game is away from home .

I like our pack Mikalele, Musgrove, Twal, Aloai and our edge forwards Garner and Luch look strong. I think we are badly underrated this year.

If we expect to make the 8 then this is the type of opponent we need to beat
They are not expected to make the 8
In fact I will go as far as saying that we need to beat every team that finished behing us last year
Let's see what we are made of

I really don't understand how that roster is performing so badly. On paper it isn't bad.

Bench is crap. Forward pack is past its prime. Backs are crap. Halves are inconsistent and chokers.

But apart from that?
