In watching St George, there isn’t a lot of trickery in their play or style. They play to their strengths, one of them being Su’a on a short ball or early ball to Suli or Lomax. Not alot of block shapes thrown at teams. A lot of bash and barge. Our forwards really need to be up for it, our halves equally need to play patient and build into the game. Roosters tried all their trick shots early and out wide and the Dragons kept sliding on them. In saying that I haven’t seen a Roosters performance that isn’t clunky yet, they aren’t gelling and playing as a team, that lack of composure probably played into the Dragons hands.
It’s an even battle this one.

🔮

Dragons will win the 1st half & we’ll win the second

1st half
Dragons 18
Tigers 10

Full time
Tigers 36

Nine made mention also yesterday they dont often kick on the 5th in the red zone....i have a feeling that may change this week

They have been doing some clear tactics on turning teams around on the 3rd & 4th.
In the 20mtr zones they run it on the last but in the corners forcing teams to use 2 runs to centre the ball towards the 20mtrs & reducing the risk of bad kicks etc.

They are playing some smart footy but they also do have alot of errors in them
