I for one think the cleanout is necessary and long over due,pity it didn't happen years ago,if the players had of played to their potential,this would not be happening,only thing is sheens should be shown the door like some players have been.

Not only that mate, most of these guys had contracts for next year. Instead of showing a bit of backbone and saying to the club "no i'm signed here and i'm going to prove you wrong" they took the soft option and went elsewhere. If they are all such good mates and brothers etc, then why the hell didn't/haven't they dug their heels in ? In actual fact the title of this thread is appropriate for the players.
Can't agree on the Sheens bit but your certainly not on your own in that opinion.

It makes me sick reading all the negativity with in the forum.

I am fully aware the Wests Tigers have ALOT of issues ATM.Players leaving, Attitude, Completions, Admin, Coach staff, the list goes on.

Having said this i am not going to start dooms daying my/our club.

Wests Tigers as a club is bigger and better than any one player, coach or personality. I feel it is an honor to support them and will continue to do so, No Matter what.

You are correct i have followed Balmain and now WT from the mid 60s and will always support my team i know 2 blokes older than me one Balmain one Wests who both feel the same way we have all seen little success and much heartache over the years but the club will always have my support till the day i die.

Yes i am not happy with the way things have gone since the end of 2007 and have said so on many occasions but finally some action is being taken which should have happened years ago.The only concern is it should include the coach

For once i think i can say "short term pain for long term gain".

We will get to the end of the tunnel and be better for it

He takes home over $400,000.00 a year and knows whatever his results are, he is the safest coach in the NRL. At the end of his tenure he can just walk away without any links or desire to support the club. We dont, as we are life long supporters.

Sheens does not care because he still gets to bank his millions and at the end of the day, just walk away. I have been telling people for years that this person (I will try to call him a man) has been slowly tearing this club apart, and my criticism has fallen on deaf ears or upon those who scathingly have attack me.

Who is right now? He is the single most destablising figure in the club and in 2006 began this destablisation by denying Wests Magpies NRL players.

What good has that got us? No where. The man is a fool. In the only 2 years WT have made the Semi's we did so with shared NRL players. The imbecile and his policies have destroyed this club and it is all doom and gloom and will only get much much worse with this insane lunatic at the helm.

I will always support the tigers no matter what but for the life of me i cant see what the good of continually picking wade mackinnon at fullback is goin to achieve!the bloke is way past his best has very poor positional play rarely takes kick returns on the full he has to go pick a young guy at the back to blood him for next year…if sheens cant see just this one aspect of our teams play then i fear he has lost the plot... How appropriate that you come into this thread and try to continue your negativity and name calling about Sheens and how he apparently brought this club to its knees. Sheens coached us to a premiership in '05 and almost pulled it off again in 2010\. Not bad for an imbecile and a lunatic imo :blah

95% of the posters on here are genuine fans who go to a lot of games and love the Wests Tigers.

Negativity can get over the top on here but I dont question anyones passion for the club ( bar a couple …)

We were installed as second favourites for the title this year and the season has been a woeful disaster thus far for many varied reasons. People arent lashing out through hatred, more so severe dissappointment.

There is anger that the team is being dismantled but I think you'll find that comes from some posters personal relationships with certain players.

At the end of the day though, no one is walking away from the club and we'll all be either at the game or on here next weekend doing it all again.

Why? because we love the club and cant help ourselves....

your posts and quotes of recent times always seem to revolve around the magpie end of the world and receiving raw deals and how sheens is making love with the balmain side of the venture. dont know how much is true but who really cares. whos knows if any of the turmoil regards to player movement hasnt come from that side of the board? also, if sheens was to go wouldnt a new coach want a cleanout also?
