Rise of Skywalker did the best it could after Johnson trashed every single plot point he could. He pretty much left Abrams at a dead end. Disney have fired multiple directors of Star Wars films for far less. I don't know how The Last Jedi was allowed to proceed the way it did.

ROS felt a little rushed, like it was it's own trilogy and had to fit everything in.

My main issue with the sequel trilogy is the lack of respect shown to both Mark Hamill and Luke Skywalker.

Saw it tonight with the wife. Wrapped it up well I thought. Contrary to what some have said, I think TLJ made this film better than what it should have been. Abrams should have done the whole trilogy.

Still think Rogue One is the best Disney Star Wars offering yet, along with the Mandalorian.

I'm liking The Mandalorian a lot - Pedro Pascal is perfect for the role.

I saw the first Star wars movie as a kid. Then I grew out of it.

Saw the first one in 1977 with my now wife for my first movie date at a theatre and decided to see the last at a theatre again so 42 years in between. Highly recommend this one even though we were never died in the wool fans it still was a great movie
