Whats stange is that Dillon is left out of the equation tupou is named in the extended lineup quite often but dillon who should be our fb going forward has been underdeveloped in cup

With all the missing centres, we completely forgot that we have no coverage at fullback. Douehis fullback days were long gone and no one in the squad including To'a has played any games as a fullback at NRL level.

Pretty sure Starford was at fullback in the Sharks game in Round 5 and didn't go too well then which is why I am nervous about him being there this week.

Yeah but gotta remember he was a last min shuffle into the fullback role because Laurie got covid.
I think with a full weeks preparation he will do a lot better. More than held his own against souffs when he was put there, it's just Hunts spiral bombs that concern me
I remember someone on here saying that Dillon left the bulldogs to come here because McDonnell didn’t give him a fair go since McDonnell got sacked from the bulldogs and come back here looks like he’s not gunna get a fair go again he may be right who ever mentioned this before
It is so obvious that Tex Hoy should be signed as standby fullback. Will iy come to fruition?

Play well and you will make the team. Simple.
I would say he’s not one of McDonnells signings and yes the recruitment. Guys have a lot to say who gets a run in the lower grades
How McDonnell thinks he's got any clout anymore is beyond me...

Are we blowing up like this just about Logan Dillon? Really? If he becomes the next Paps by all means ask the question.
Im going to put my head on a chopping block here and say that I think Noffa should go to fullback,and Star to wing just for this game and if Noffa cant handle the situation swap them back....not sure Im not the coach,but for one game that would be obvious to me while we have so many top players out atm...we are doing really well and Jacko seems to be the glue that keeps it altogether but he cant play all the positions .....

Yeah I reckon you could keep swapping Nofo / T'oa during the game ... have Nofo defend at fullback but then have T'oa in the line as a fullback (attack)

Have you noticed where on the ladder we've been since the Mid 2010's - And where the Dogs have been since then when they recruited him.
Neither team have had any recruitment worth bragging about in his most recent tenures...

No one’s really blowing up the kid deserves a fair chance but weather or not he’s good enough to play nrl who knows is he ready now no but he’s good enough to be starting fullback in second grade and give him time to settle they play him 1 game then he gets dropped bring him back 1 game then dropped again
I think 1 game he run for 170 m and they still dropped him
Been here a few years now,
Plays a couple NRL Trials at Fullback in 2022 (And goes OK)
But all of a sudden, He isn't good enough to play for a reserve grade team coming last and getting lapped every week.... You're right - Something stinks!!

it's a little different this time round as there is a pathways structure in place, with Sheens in an administrative role. I'm not a fan of McDonnell by any stretch, but if Sheens believes he has the best knowledge of players in our junior bases then I'm hopeful he can stick to identification.
