Starford To’a #253

He's a very talented player. Great front foot player, but we'd be better off with a less skilled and dynamic hard worker. Until he gets somewhere near Taylan for toughness and aggression he's a liability in a team that needs players doing gritty work without momentum.

I could see him go to another level at a club like Penrith or Melbourne, not because he'd improve his play, just because their backs are given space and time by the dominance of their forward pack and the organisation of their halves.

We need backs who like making hard hit ups and enjoy the opportunity to tackle. Turuva, Skelton and May all have that.

He will play reserve grade next year , Mr inconsistency .
Skelton , May , Makasini , Turuva will be the wingers and centres
Don’t think we should chuck in Makasini first round next year unless we have no choice. He did ok yesterday for his first time in first grade, but I don’t think he’s anywhere near ready for permanent first grade. To’a will be there unless he’s not available.

Their backs hit up as hard and tackle as hard as anyone, he would if anything be under even more physical demand at the top clubs.

He's a glass cannon, and unfortunately has been completely busted the better of half a season but was continued to be picked...

Toa will be in the team week 1 next year … his injury should be definitely healed by then… although how long it takes him to get re- injured ?
