OFFICIAL Starford To’a #253

he needs to be medically retired or dropped, we really need to invest in another gun centre/winger. Turuva and May are 1st graders, Luke is going next year he is a good fill in for this year and we have skelton which can fill in but we dont really have any gun centres to replace Toa, Makasini is too young and raw; he hasn't impressed more just been a fill in. Tavana just proved that he is too young and inconsistent; he needs at least a year in cup. Herbet is really our only option but he is a fill in, defintely need to find someone

I'm confused whether it was bad reads, bad spacing or he put himself in that position to avoid direct contact.

Definitely the second worst player out there but in the last 30 minutes, our forwards got so dominated that they had 20m of space with 3 players defending and Sharks running on to each ball with pace.

I don't think even Herbie could have done much.

Just let him go eh...

Hes AJ Kepoa 2.0
Old Flippers, which park does he play in these days.
And the whole time he couldn’t bloody see. Talk about sharking us.

I have memorised the last two lines of the eye chart for the drivers license test.

Did you like the pun? Or is it still to early?

Makasini..Herbert.,Toa … if you are being honesf …it’s hard to have a lot of confidence in any of them ..they have been patchy at best this season ,,,Herbert’s club debut aside …I’d probably take him out of the three

Really annoys me Star. He's got all the ability, just doesn't seem to put it together.

Given such an opportunity to keep his spot and doesn't deliver.

One absolute cracker of a game for many, many bad ones.

He's somehow in the senior player group too, lol.

Yeah the senior player group part has me very stunned. The guy is not an example that you want younger guys to follow, zero effort from him.

I would suggest his shoulder injury is playing up again. Doubt we can get medical retirement or such, but if it is playing up again we should approach NRL and players union for what can be done. Any club should not have their roster hampered by a persisent injury plagued player. The brains trust should look to how this situation can be resolved. I know due diligence and WT resigned him knowing his health but it has not improved.

Toa - he had a chronic injury issue that apparently had not been corrected and affects his ability and confidence .. it’s about as smart a recruitment decision as Olam

Makasini - he was terrible in his last game ..I would like to see him have a game in the Reggie’s and get some confidence before putting him back up … go with Herbert or Skelton instead
Both fair points. I think with Toa’s injury, it might have been seen as a reason for his poor end of year form. That’s the way I saw it

I guess it’s hard to argue the signing was a bad move for the club.

Disagree with Makasini given we need his class. I think fully fit he’s in our top squad every week and with our other injuries we don’t have the luxury of bringing him back through cup.

His only issue is heart, he has been crap since day one. He had one good game against the cowboys years ago and since then has been poo, cannot defend to save himself. If he plays the next two weeks we are cooked.
