Potter is already making noises suggesting Miller will be halfback and Anasta lock. Also Lote might get the nod ahead of Utai. So I'm more thinking the lineup will be:

The bench is a mystery and I'm not sure if Potter is a 4 forwards on the bench man or not. Also his attitude to Moltzen is unclear. I think Curtis Sironen would be good off the bench to start the season.

Hence his position being shared at this stage. If he does get re-signed he's a pretty fair shot of being in the starting line-up. BMM will be on the bench. I'm not naming a bench for the reasons I outlined above.

Not my selections necessarily, more a guess of what team will line-up. If he gets signed again it won't be to play state cup.

The bench is a mystery at this stage. I'll have to take a look at what benches Potter picked in the UK. I'm hoping for at least 3 forwards (say BMM, Ed Pettybourne, Bell) with maybe Curtis Sironen for the other spot. Personally I think he offers more from a bench position to have a game turning impact than say Tim Moltzen who can cover a lot of positions in the backline.

Assuming everyone trains and works hard in the off-season here's a selection based on very little.
We are light on for props and overly supplied with small loose forwards who are good ball players. Really, at most 2 of Fulton, Sirro and Anasta should be in the 17 but who do you leave out. it's the same as when we had Fulton, Dene, Heigho except I think Siro and Anasta are better than Dene and Heigho.

Not a chance. BMM will be along way ahead of Bodene Thompson.

Most tries and most line breaks, yes, but people forget he probably has the most dropped bombs, missed tackles and metres made sideways out of everyone too… Waste of space. Get someone in there who cares about the team an not just self-preservation.
