I hope Madge said to the backs that Brooks and Douehi will start in the halves if available but all other spots in the backs are up for grabs and will be picked based solely on effort and commitment. Obviously AD will miss rd 1, I hope to see something from Madden against the Raiders.

I could see Momo being like Aubo was for Roosters. Clubman that will play wherever coach needs him and never let's you down.

Aubo probably held out more talented players because of importance he was for the team.

They booted him for SBW actually. Just because a club gets rid of a young player doesn’t mean they’re no good, they also got rid of their other young winger who’s super talented for Joseph Suaali.

Roosters lose plenty of good players as do Melbourne. It’s a bit of a myth that any players they release are no good.

Morris Bros would solve a few issues we have: good defenders, still fast enough, and can play FB if necessary. IMHO, they would be a better option then Roberts/BJ/Monsour.
