Was great to watch the game live after years of listening in to amateur hour radio commentators, how does Chisholm feel after his former club put the cleaners through his new club and I guess the reason that the game wasn't able to be played on Friday night is that most of the players are semi professional & have 'real jobs'.

Maybe it's because the team wore Balmain jerseys.

It's the Wests Tigers just wear the Wests Tigers jersey. Why do we have to wear Balmain Tigers or Wests Magpies jerseys.
Can't we afford a third set of Wests Tigers jerseys for NSW cup ?

Oh well, you can please some of the people all of the time but you can never please all the people all the time, quite frankly after watching the Tigers play in my home town a few weeks ago in Wests Tigers jerseys I was expecting much the same for the game on Saturday.
While the majority of us appreciates the Heritage jerseys when they are rolled out for the NRL games it appears that they can't do the same for the NSWRL Cup Games that are watched by a handful of people at the ground and the very few of us that has access to Fox Sports.
Without delving into it too deeply I gather that when at Leichhardt they'll appear in a Balmainstyle jumper but when they're at Campbelltown it will be a Wests style jersey and for away games a Wests Tigers jersey?, can someone please clarify the situation!.

After watching that mess you come to two certain conclusions.
1\. The standard is extremely poor compared to first grade standards.
That includes the defence and attitude of most of the players , the refereeing … and the commentators.

At least the commentator pronounced everyone's name correctly.

And the word Balmain was never mentioned.

I heard some confused fools screaming out 'balmain balmain' after the game…..maybe they thought the u/16s were on next

I was one of those fools living a lie and avoiding reality.

We were yelling 'Tigers", "Balmain", "Wests Tigers", "Ryde Eastwood", "Meaney, Meany, Meany" and whatever else came to mind.

The reality is our team put 50 points on the opposition and we were there on the hill doing our best to support them. So what if we yelled out Balmain, I wish someone was there in a magpie jersey (or t-shirt as it was pretty hot) yelling out "Wests" and "Magpies". I would have bought them a beer.

Yes, the reality is we have merged at the State Cup level, but the reality is also that we still have more than 100 years of history of two great clubs behind that merger so what the hell is wrong with occasionally celebrating that history by yelling it from the hill?

Lets get fair dinkum, it is sport not life and death. We are supporters so we all should stop being so precious and political about it and just get out there and yell our guts out, and who really gives a stuff what your yelling so long as you are out there supporting.
