State of Origin 2026

I expect QLD to win game 2 by 30+ The team is maybe worse than game 1 - except for Api of course.

If Sam Fainu was fit he would be a walk in. JUST KIDDING! NSW would pick some slow old plodders anyway.

Of course QLD will win, the script is written every year, plus some of Daley’s selections are just plain stupid.

I agree re selections but funny enough man to man, NSW is better in every position.

Daley sounds like such a dope when he talks, everyone seems to say positive things about him in the media though so maybe he's just very bad with media (even though he was in media before) but seriously if you're a player and the head coach talks to you with uhms aahs, yaaaahs, without making any real sense, you'd feel no confidence in the game plan.

Other than No.9 and the bench, NSW is so much better on paper.

Have you already forgotten what he did in game 1 of this series?
Do you mean when he completely changed momentum in yet another game and ultimately flipped the result with single a blow on his short whistle? Most people remember game 1 this year but clearly this crap has been happening much longer. Fortunately the NRL is a highly reputable organisation and would not allow someone with a known gambling problem to officiate SOO's and GF's. That would be like sending someone with a gambling problem to Vegas every year!

I'm surprised Ashley is still refereeing SOO, actually any games for a while.

When a player makes a mistake outside of footy, they ultimately pay the price and get sidelined for a period of time. The same should apply to Ashley.

We all make mistakes, but I really hope that the NRL are helping him through this rather than glossing it over and covering it up.

LOL so what?
Yeah good one.. The difference being Suali’i deserved his and his suspension backed that up.
Probably didn’t deserve a send off, but his shoulder did connect with Koula’s head and put him out of the game. Yes their heads clashed, but that was after the initial shoulder to head contact. He didn’t even try to wrap his arms around the player, which in my book is a shoulder charge. It’s not a good look and he does it all the time. Ponga is going to have to change his technique to avoid any future problems.
