State of Origin 2026

I heard someone say that State of Origin is still being carried by the hype of moments that happened > 10/15 years ago, and honestly, I agree. With the game getting softer, how long can origin stay relevant

Absolutely pathetic from Daley, dumb [This word has been automatically removed] has cost NSW game 2. I know technically this should’ve won the series for QLD as NSW only won game 1 due to the send off, but Daley made some very dumb changes for game 2 and didn’t even give Api a run when Robson was struggling big time. I can’t wait for the media to give him the bagging he deserves. Worst coach in NSW history.

I just hate how it disrupts the regular season. I find it more to be an annoyance then a spectacle these days and losing tonight I just feel meh but don't really care.

Imagine having none of Haas, Barnett or AFB on the field. Can tell Laurie was coached by sheens. The lack of thinking you need props is wild.
Been watching origin for 30+ years
- I still can’t believe the Blues don’t respect the need for leg speed in the middle.

Did AFB use 2 interchanges to contribute about 10 minutes (again)
It’s hard enough without old Mr. Nice guy playing all the nice guys and keeping his mates happy…

Looks like my choice of watching Blade Runner 2049 again instead was correct.

NSW got somewhat lucky in game 1, and whilst I don't know the scoreline, a quick perusal of these last pages read similar to our recent Penrith match ones.
