Wow Rewatching as I wind down....

How much better is the Fox commentary than channel 9.
Yeah me.too
A dozen people where u was watching it live...i wanna hear commetary when they replay mome ts but everyone starts talking and yelling

Nikora had the red.mist rise very suddenly with the elbow...he was fed off teddys head clash...weird moment when he just stopped.and looked down

You reckon your blokes turned up?
With the quality of people in the QLD coaching and mentoring camps, I think there’s no way they weren’t prepared. They turned up alright, they just had a bit of stage fright once they saw how hard NSW were coming at them.
The stars of this QLD squad aren’t dependable winners like the generation before them were. They are unpredictable. Losing 2 Brisbane deciders in a row is just not good enough.

Being prepared and turning up are 2 totally different things.
I been to plenty of tigers games where I can tell in the first 10 minutes (sometimes even in the warm up) weather they’ve turned up or not.

I have no doubt they were prepared - I don’t think they turned up For the contest.
It got harder than they expected early and they started looking for someone else solve it.

Either way, I’m happy with the win - unexpected and I still think selections and coaching is an issue with NSW - and has been for some time.
It’s a relief that sometimes the players can take up the slack from time to time.

Master class from the chin, ably supported by a great forwards effort.

Loz is walking away because he’s in over his head. Credit to him for walking away on a high, but overall he’s not achieved enough.

I said last week that you NSW supporters are scarred mentally.
That team you put out should have won. This QLD side is good but they need NSW to be a bit off to win. Man for man they are outmatched.
They turned up ready to go. So did NSW. When NSW has turned up in this series, they’ve won the half of footy.
Game 1 = QLD ambush the first half the lose the second half 16-0
Game 2 = NSW win the first half then fall to pieces in the second.
Game 3 = NSW win both halfs.

In the end, NSW won 4 half’s to QLDs 2. The better team won this series and that puts a spotlight on the way the NSW media and its fans carried on.

Good to see Daley have that dog in him and prove all the doubters wrong. Really liked what he said about being a leader. Showed a lot of emotion and passion. Still think they made poor decisions but maybe he’s right perhaps we all mounted onto the hate Daley train far too heavily.

He is walking away? I didn’t see any post match press… I’m glad.
His press and interviewing throughout the whole series was frighteningly horrible - I don’t remember him being like that previously… he looked like a deer in headlights most of the time, fumbling his way through…
Worst thing is they’ll probably pucl
Cordner to replace him and he’s not much better

I disagree,
Good players on paper don’t always make good teams. Qld generally pick good origin teams, NSW have long played favourites and pick on highlight reels.
Blokes like Jake Turbo who are barely effective at club level getting first picked.

Your math is correct, NSW did win 4 halves, but weren’t that much better in the second half last night.
Take out the goal kicking and penalty, it was 2 tries a peice and lucky not to be 3-2 your way with old mate being offside by smidgen. Points are points thought - very relieved with the win. NSW played better than they half all series and QLD Played worse - in the end, the Ponga send off in game 1 was the deciding factor, not NSW dominance.
Also don’t agree on being man for man outmatched, 3/4 of the QLD spine are better players most days of the week.

Blues fans are pretty blase' imo....hardly mentally scarred...we.love a good win but pretty meh when we lose.
We arent insecure or carry chips on the shoulder ike 'queenslanders'...who need to pump everything up to make them feel good about themselves...be it footy, bushfirres or floods
Classic small men syndrome...insecure and esteem lacking lol

NSW dont get Origin 🙄
