Qld should not have picked Morgan too he is a walking hia and needs a long break.

It’s called retirement. For his own well being he should.

Yup.
Shouldn’t have been picked.
Walters will rue that.

Don't know why you would specifically finger Mbye, QLD were poor in many respects, as were NSW. Lots of players below their best tonight.

Spot on. He was just so so. Not a disaster, not a difference maker. Needs to invest in some decent boots. For me Queensland's biggest mistake was picking a non-specialist hooker. Hunt offered very little.

@Yossarian
The 2GB call team absolutely shredded Mbyes performance.
One run in the first half from just two touches.
I have no problems with his defence. It's his attack that's lacking. Doesn't inject himself whatsoever.

That's because 98% of QLD attack went down the right edge with Chambers targeting Maloney and Wighton in the 1st half....they had a fair bit of success at it too

Mbye held his own against Trbojevic ..not flash but not shredded either...

With all the players around Hunt you don't need him overplaying his hand

DCE was the most disappointing from a Qlder perspective in my opinion throughout the series

Not even trying to take a shot at field goal with that last play .......

I singled out Mbye because he asked how Mbye went, not how the rest of the team went.

Fair enough.

I enjoyed the game and I must give credit where it is due...Ethan Lowe got a call up in the last minute and was given the goalkicking duties in a SOO decider and can hold his head up high,a great performance when needed...

However congratulations to the Blues...well done by all....

Mbye was okay for mine.

I mean, given what I expected of him. He looked okay in his few touches. Didn't have any impact on the game but I didn't expect him to either. He wasn't terrible. He made a poor read at the end for the winning try, but other than that probably did as much as any other option QLD had.

Is it me or is JAC becoming or has become a show pony. What I mean by that is he seems to know where the cameras are, seems to be the last one to jump on someone's back when they score. Maybe he is becoming a legend in his own mind.

Should have at least had a shot and second best option should have been to drill it over the sideline to run down time, was only 90 seconds left at that point and an ensuing scrum would have pretty much ended the half and pushed it to a golden point.

I must be missing something, James Maloney is given an 8 rating, did they watch his last 15 mins, a dropped ball not under pressure, led to a handover, a missed tackle that lead to a break and then they scored, a charge down and then they scored down the field. At least Mitchell Pearce saved the day by identifying space to the right.

He’s certainly a very excitable fellow. He and Ferguson carry on together like a couple of 7 year olds. Pretty embarrassing for grown men imo, but they don’t care - they’re winning!

Mbye got the blame for the non attempt at field goal too - played the ball too slow apparently ?
