STATS SHOW WE ARE BETTER OFF WITHOUT THESES DIVAS

A few things, stating the team is better when 1 player doe or doesn't play is ludicrous.

Secondly, nearly all of the stats quoted in that article are wrong.

Thirdly, the club's struggle is to do with a lack of forwards, evidenced by the poor win rate when Woods doesn't play.

Better forwards and depth and a lot of results get reversed.

Kind of meaningless stats.

Apparently our win rate when all 4 are present is crap, but it's equally crap when just two are present. The only time it peaks is when just one is missing.

So arguably you only need to lose one of the Big 4 to improve the win rate. They finger Moses. And fair enough, our win rate drops when the other players are missing, but increases for Moses.

But they only have 1 game where 3 are missing, so there's no data for how we perform with most of the Big 4 out.

Tigers all-time win rate is 43.20% but only 39.24% since (and including) 2014\. So it's bad and The Big 4 haven't helped it go up. But it's not correct to say the win rate will improve when they leave, because they don't have data, just that the Tigers win rate is poor when they play, which we already knew.

You couldn't let us enjoy a non hooper article could you. Just joking.

You should see our winning percentage when we are playing on the winter solstice on a Saturday night when 5 of the big 4 are playing at 75%…...?

Classic… The stupid just get stupider!

Don't worry about the other 10 or so plodders around the 4, it's Moses fault, or it must be Teddy's fault.
:deadhorse:

BINGO!!!!!!!!!
But some would rather clutch at anything to whitewash the plodders, who could never win us a game unlessit was by accident

No not really. What it is pointing out is the value return on the four players is almost nil. If they are on the field or not, the team does not show appreciable performance change to warrant the percentage of salary cap invested in them.

Like yesterday…?

Most of the plodders lifted their games and played well .
As well as the better players mostly played at a high intensity as well, the team was well prepared by the look of our better defence(in most parts),
So instead of three or four top players playing great, and most of the rest playing like plodders they played more like a team.
As you know teams can't win consistently by just relying on three of four players to win consistently. The less skilled have to do their part as well. As in The Storm, the top players do their job , and the lesser players have theirs.
Yesterday we looked more like a team than usual. There was still mistakes but they worked together a lot better. A lot of credit must go to Cleary in what must have been a difficult week for all of them
