Stefano Sinbin

Stefano gets sinbinned after 2 penalties

No warning

Meanwhile manly have a player thats offside and makes a tackle on simpkin denying him a try yet thats just a set restart

Explain
The ref was colourblind and though they were wearing south’s jerseys

The jumper grab and sin bin were bad, bad, bad.

Peachy no try wasn't quite as bad as the Kelma and Luciano stuff ups, but honestly not far off given the ref had called try and there has to be conclusive evidence to overturn. As an example, Aloiai probably didn't ground the ball, but once it went up as a try shouldn't have been overruled. I really can't believe the two bunker calls, 2 weeks in a row.

The forward pass was line ball, looked pretty flat.

The obstruction was probably the right call, they are generally consistent on the inside/outside shoulder rulings from what I've seen. After great defence from the boys, I feel this is where we lost it - they put in 7 tries after that.

Conformation bias, all of Abbesleys arseoles have it.Rule 1 Treat teams differently at all times especially be harsher on the "lesser" clubs

Has anyone heard from Madge, what did he think about all this crap

Come on Madge say what you really think. Spend some of Pascoe's profits on something memorable and totally worthwhile, stir up the establishment, you might even get a few other coaches back you up.

It's hard to say if calls went our way results would be different.

I watched the game again with a clear view for the 6 again's/Penalties & the majority against us were valid, and the ref probably did miss another 5 or so opportunities he could've pinged us.

In saying that I counted Manly under the same lens in which we were penalised one way or another that 14 occasions were missed of clear cut 6 again/penalties that should've been given which weren't. So the misses were 14 to 5. So based on the ratio of reality we were short of 3-4 x 6 again/penalties for the game duration.

What was more interesting was the sin bin, in which there was 3 offences within a 8min period with no misses & it was Stefano's 1st interaction however Manly had 4 offences during a 7min period with 2 others missed in which no one was sent to the sin bin.

It was very very clear during the game that DCE and Turbo were consistently coaching the ref, something I didn't see our leaders doing even close to the frequency. Infact often DCE was parked next to the ref at times in the defensive line sometimes playing 2 spots infield out of his normal defensive position & he didn't come up in the defensive line sitting with the ref. Manly played that smarter than us and got a clear value in return.

All we want is consistency and a fair crack. Against Manly on review we didn't get that.

Beyond a joke and more than just bias.

If Stefano is to be binned Manly also should have suffered same just after half time on repeat infringements .

Aloai was probably held up. In similar circumstances most referees send it up to the bunker as no try. In then would have been confirmed as such.

We had 3 fair tries disallowed . The obstruction call was the softest this year.

The pass no way forward.

And the jumper grab a clear penalty.

All incidents came at key points.

Just like the 80s again.

We can all sit here and whinge how Manly didnt cop it like we did and there is bias in the refs....
Truth is the refs have to start being consistent or get better refs...the bunker is just as bad with garbage calls with the help of a million camera angles...

Remember when Luci was disallowed a try a couple of weeks back..why didnt it get reviewed, but yesterday Peacheys first try should have been allowed but it got scrutenised to the point of not being allowed....BS bunker and refs atm....

We have the best game officials that brown paper bags can buy.
Yeah, there's only so much rationalizing one can do before it stares you in the face.

And I know crowds aren't as animated as they were but it seemed even a bit much for that rather docile looking 17k crowd.

And the Manly mob is used to getting their way.

we have not been dudded like this since the 2010 finals series where huge calls in both the chooks game and dragons preliminary cost us a premiership.

R3 v Warriors Luciano no try debacle
R4 v Titans Maumalo no try
R8 v Dragons Kelma no try
R9 v Manly Stef sin bin, Peach no try, Turbo holding To'a, Croker obstruction given a try, Hastings forward pass

that is literally 8 competition points. not saying we win yesterday if the calls did in fact go our way and we came away with the win we'd be banging down the door of the top 4.
