He's going to look great for Easts in a couple of years.

That's a definite worry imo. Taukeiaho looks burnt out and JWH is nearing the end. Cue the classic Greasy Uncle Nick move to put the tendrils out and wave brown paper bags around.

If Stef buys a set of golf clubs we're in trouble!

Yeah, the type he defos cant afford.

Would just like to say his chase to catch Meaney was inspiring. He didn't have to do it but he did. That's what you want from your players. Play with heart until the final siren. The footage of the chase should be shown to his team mates and future team mates.

Only lad with a pulse out there today.
In awe of how professional he is.

Deserves better.

He’s the only one that can hold his head up today.
Close to the only one who seemed like he had any pride.
We need to build around him.

Stefano, Mikele, Twal all played hard today

Mikele made 140m and 33 tackles

Twal 61 tackles 0 misses and 100m

A couple of blokes went off early with injuries who cant be blamed and Nofa tried hard out of poistion but the rest was very very poor

That is the problem. a couple of these blokes have stats against them, but honestly had no impact on the game. Mikaele offers little and I wouldn't have been sad to see him go

That's what worries me.

For the sake of his career he should walk.

It took external coaching to light a spark inside him. We all saw how improved he was after the origin experience.

Fear for his further development unless we somehow turn things around...

One of a few reasons I'll be back next year.
95% of the team should show half as much effort as the young kid.
Hope we hang on to him.

Stef will get big money offers to play in a winning team. We are sure to lose him .
Jez he has alot of potential

Tackling a fullback into touch was the play that tells you everything you need to know about this kid..

Be up there with the elite Front rowers in the game as he continues to develop.

Well done UTOIKAMANU..

I actually think the forwards had a go today - for a young pack with little leadership or direction. The backline however was the worst I can remember- since the night Lovett went to the centres. In saying that there is slim pickings.

Stefano has an amazing future ahead of him that’s for sure, we can only hope that he sees the future WTs that Madge keeps talking about.

You can't have world beaters at every position. Mikaele is certainly good enough for 1st grade even if he's underperformed compared to his potential. Our props are ok, our halfback is a complete donkey that couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery.

I believe we are looking at a generational talent who we simply have to retain. As good as this young man is now, imagine how good he's going to be with greater first grade and rep game experience over the next few seasons.

Mikaele is good for 25 minutes off the bench. Will hit the ball up with effort, but absolutely no effort in defence. If he has to move, that is asking a lot
