This will be interesting watching this young fella progress, not expecting to much next season but hopefully has the attitude to knuckle down. The way he was talking the other day was interesting to say the least time will tell and of corse Madge 🤔

With any luck he will jump out at the start of the starting blocks and demand a spot in the 17 from the trial onwards. Stil, somewhat glad that we didn't get him early and had to throw him in due to our depleted middle ranks this past season. Also banking that he has been able to fully recover in strengthening around his previous injuries and grown that bit harder with age, to be more of a man with strength and maturity to match the size.

I saw pretty much all his minutes last year. I think he will be another Twal. Which is not a bad thing, he'll make metres and complete tackles but prob won't bend the line or be an enforcer

It’s good you have low expectations. You will be surprised when he gets some games under his belt.

We have this funny ability to pick players (with a few exceptions like Ellis, Taupau, Aloiai), that either are 'pillows' or became 'pillows' i.e. Twal, Buchanan, Groat, Lowett etc.. Hopefully with Utoikamanu, and Blore it will be different!😛ray:

Just remember that Stefano is only 20 years old, give the guy a couple of years to develop his craft, playing prop is the hardest competition in the isn't going to be easy for the kid.
Give him time, he has the body to succeed.

Just remember that Stefano is only 20 years old, give the guy a couple of years to develop his craft, playing prop is the hardest competition in the isn't going to be easy for the kid.

I'm not giving anyone a bad rap, just saying he's most likely a particular style player. If he develops to something different than great. There's no right or wrong

Enforcers : blore, Musgrove (packer if he makes it to the field)
Engine room : twal, Tamou, utoikamanu, Joe O, seyfarth, mikaele
Locks : Luciano (not actually sure who else qualifies here tbh)
Line runners : cheeks, garner

Looking at the photo’s he doesn’t appear to take shortcuts. I am sure he will see plenty of first grade or Eiso & Aoli wouldn’t have.been let go
