Trent Robinson was on Sterlo last night. I must admit i like the man. He comes across as all class. I like his honesty. He speaks clearly, intelligently, doesn't mince his words and doesn't put a spin on things. Has a very good footy brain to boot.
Complete opposite to out Mr. JT.

3 minor premierships and 1 premiership all within three years of coaching at NRL level is a darn good record isn't it.

In all honesty though for a year or more he had 17 rep players taking the field for him each week- most coaches do not get that luxury to make themselves look good TBH.
This year is a real litmus test for his abilities as a coach and so far it ain't looking real flash.

Sure is Milky! He's bilingual too. Fluent in French.

But what about the language Mama? :stuck_out_tongue:

That part FTB was just a random interesting bit of info. Nothing at all to do with coaching.
Sorry can't help myself sometimes.

I think his Roosters players would be hearing a bit of French lately when he addresses them.

For those who subscibe to Pay TV, tonights guest is Ian Roberts, a former Australian frontrowerwho played for South Sydney, Manly and after coming out played for The Cowboys and has had a stint as an actor in both motion pictures and Aussie dramas.

Yep and I hope the whole interview isnt about him being a gay man…theres much more to his career both football and post.

Was a good steady player whose dodgy knees got the better of him in the end.
The way he beat the tripe out of Garry Jack while he was being held by two other players was pretty cowardly though. He wouldn't have gotten away with doing that if Blocker was on the field.

I don't mean to be too insensitive or anything,
but Ian Roberts didn't seem like the nicest of people.
Defo one of my least liked interviews from Sterlo to be honest.
I know he has brain damage and whatnot but Ian defo seemed like he had a bit of an attitude.
Maybe it's just me though, I'm in no way homophobic or anything but I don't like Ian as a person, sexuality aside…. all personality for me,.
