Sticky Stuart to Coach Tigers in 2011!?!?

I wonder if Sticky joins the Tigers who he would bring with him…John Morris??

I for one would welcome back John Morris any day of the week. He was one of the best one-on-one defenders this club ever had and would much prefer him on the bench at the moment than Mitch Brown.

I still think we miss his defence in the middle of the ruck.

I don't think our defence is as much of an issue as it has been in previous years. We've held teams out pretty much all year excepting Souths and the first Roosters game. We collapsed against the Dogs because we defended to a standstill for 70 minutes. I'm pretty impressed with the way the team is defending this year.

For mine, as much as liked John's defensive ability and his ticker, I think I'd be happy for him to stay on at Cronulla or move on to his 5,798th club in 2011.

Heard that Souths will go hard for Sheens in 2012…They wanted him last year if you recall...Crow is a massive Sheens fan...given the crap Sheens copped after the Souths loss it wouldn't surprise me if he goes...and as they all do takes a few players with him.....I wonder if Sticky joins the Tigers who he would bring with him...John Morris??

Hard to see Souths moving on John Lang if he didn't want to go.

Miss the semis & Lang will be in deep doodoo like his predecessor,& with the help of a little cash will probably fall on his sword
Sheens knows he has first rights to the Souths gig,& can draw on this at any time,including at the end of this season if the gig is available
Ironically its probably Souths or us when it comes to filling the 8th spot...!

he was a very underated player. he may not of been the best halfback but he sure had some impact off the bench

On Talkin' Sport , a rumour was mentioned that Stuart & Zappia will be talking Osbourne & Anderson jobs at Parramatta…that would please me no end.The rumour sounds it could be true as Zappia is wanted there I have heard as well

So you're saying if Lang misses the finals for 1 year Rusty will replace him with someone who may have missed the finals 5 years in a row?

Well I certainly would replace Sheens in a heartbeat,but certainly not with Stuart..thats called out of the firepan into the flaming cauldron!
But Rusty appears enamoured with the "Sheenspin"(must be an actor thing),& seems quite prepared to forgive just one finals appearence in 13 years,unlike some of us on this forum.
Stuart's mess he left behind at Easts & Cronulla means he hasnt earnt the right to replace anyone in NRL in my humble opinion

Theres no way Sheens will be sacked mid season & cost ourselves $600k or so,as well as totally throwing away 2010…
However,at year end, if all the planets aligned(particularly those hovering over Redfern & Wooloomooloo),theres a real possibility of a couple of early "resignations "that may not cost Tigers a cent.
But whatever,why on earth wld u replace an incumbent coach thats hit the semis once in 13 seasons with one thats had just a one in 5 season success,as both are lamentable failures

Nah,the coaching "future" ….isnt in proven losers,nor ESL "winners"where success rarely translates into NRL,nor in unproven assistant coaches from other clubs.
The coaching "future",ladies & gentlemen,is entirely in our own backyard already,& doesnt include Sheens nor Royce...& Im certain Humphries is sufficiently astute to recognise it
