was at ANZ stadium on week-end, held over two days.

Saturday's line up included:
Noise works, Van Halen, Aerosmith.

Sunday line up included:
Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian, Icehouse and Billy Joel.

myself and oldest son went on sunday
had a great time.

Was it a big crowd?
I saw a couple of photos and it appeared a pretty small crowd catered for considering the line-up.

I was there on Saturday. I thought Aerosmith were fantastic. Eddie was great too, but Dave can't sing

I was there Saturday. Great day of Rock and Roll. Living End were entertaining, as were Kings of Chaos. How the hell did Barnsey go on after and get more time than Kings of Chaos? the crowd didn't seem to give to s…. about Barnsey. Loved Aersomsith, Steven just gets better with age. Couldn't work out why it took an hr for VH to come on after Aerosmith but anyway. I've heard a lot of people complain that the sound quality for VH was crap but i didn't think it was too bad. Wolfgang's bass was turned up to 11 though, but being a bass player i didn't mind that

Looking at that line up you went the wrong day westTAHger lol…how was Billy Joel?

had always intended to go on the sunday, promised my oldest son, last year if Billy Joel was to tour again, I would take him. once we found out concert was on put aside money each week to have enough for tickets.

Icehouse played from 7.55pm to 8.55pm.

Billy Joel was great. played from 9.30pm to 11pm.
entertains the crowd very well.
some crowd loving funny moments during the night, when he said " we must now play a scared song", and so began playing AC/DC Highway to hell. his roadie, an Aussie came on sang some, so did Jon Stevens from Noise works.

and as you would imagine, when piano man was played, the final song of the night, everyone got involved and at the end of the song he received a standing ovation.
