Show bags were free once upon a time you know, so on that basis you couldn't really complain too much about the quality, as a matter of fact they were great.

Unfortunately times have changed and these days they are pretty pricey, which reminds me of a bloke I worked with once.

The guys nickname was SHOWBAGS because he was full of shit and not very good value.

This makes me think that nicknames would make a pretty entertaining thread that might lighten up the mood of everyone on this forum.

One big hand one little hand. We had a clocker in our Victorian branch at a place I used to work. Was missing one and a half fingers off one hand.

For every member that walks away, 2 more probably sign up. It might be good from a moral standpoint to not give to the club, but it won’t make a dent on the clubs bottom line.

I just don't think it's a good idea for a forum that piggyback off the WT brand to make posts that expressly saying stop contributing to the club.


With the board and CEO the way the club ownership is set up I know you are wasting your breath asking for removal or sackings and have said I'm happy to see how their plan turns out with their heavy contributing to local juniors and t sheens oversight.

Please don't twist my words.

If you’re not disillusioned or you simply want to keep contributing to WT, go for your life. It is a free society and I love it that way.

2 bits of info this morning from Michael Chammas of SMH one being
Brooks to survive the axe .I assume they reviewed the video of last game with hopeless kicking game etc.
The second is Kimmorley is likely front runner for coaching job? My problem here is it suggests that all other options have shown no interest and what does that say about tigers? If Sheens can secure a much much stronger roster and if Kimmorley can create harmony in dressing shed and super EFFORT on field than ok but that is a lot of IF !!

This made me laugh. We had a bloke like that, 'shit for brains' except he was a boss. He made out like he was everybody's mate except no one could stand him. Asterisked up one thing after another.
One day some of the blokes were at the tip and found an assessment he had filled out at a leadership training course. He ranked his highest leadership quality as enthusiasm. We had a good laugh about that. His nickname, one of many, was Muck Arse.
