Stop contributing to the club

I'm an old Balmain supporter, but Wests definitely not "hell-bent on destroying the Balmain side of the JV".

Balmain was killed off by loss of premises and most of that blame lays at the feet of the old NSW Labor Govt, with the botched Rozelle lightrail project.

Since then Balmain has barely had a dollar and it's only been at the graces of Wests that Balmain even have a seat at the table. Wests covered Balmain's outstanding debts when they merged the Leagues clubs a few years ago.

Balmain would otherwise have defaulted ages ago and any club backed by Balmain would have folded or been sold.

Wests continue to offer Balmain seats on the JV Board, when they don't have to. So if Wests really did want to destroy Balmain, they could easily have done it by abandoning Balmain when the finances fell away, but they did not, in the spirit of the original JV.
2 true,the Dogs ,Parra,tried 2 swallow us both,

After the poor PR mess that was the potential signing of Ciraldo, it’s clear our management needs to wake up or shut up, Sheens comments came back to bite hard.

CC was never going to sign, he’s too comfortable in the riff and is obviously not ready for a challenge like us.

But that’s not a bad thing, regardless of the last couple of games I really like Noddy.

He might not be the coach we want but I think he could be the coach we need.
Genuine question as I don't know much about Noddy as a coach, can you expand on your thinking with the last line of your post, 'He might not be the coach we want but I think he could be the coach we need.'

I keep getting told we cannot bring change in the administration of our club. Lee has made it clear you’re not important to this administration unless you’re a paying ticketed member.

Well to anyone disillusioned with WT constant poor decisions over many many years I say stop kicking in your money, buying merch and stop going to watch this rabble play. We don’t have a home, we can’t win, we don’t have a coach, we don’t have good players and this mob simply can’t fix it. Their one idea is sacking coaches which isn’t a solution, it’s just suits trying to save face.

Dwindling crowds and money in the bank will ultimately ensure this administration will eventually get tossed out and the NRL will install an alternative. They need WT to get their TV money. The new administration couldn’t possibly be any worse.

ITS A SAD TIME TO SUPPORT WT
100% agree with you.
Everyone needs to wake up and realise that we don’t have a committed club. We have huge problems with leaks to the media. (Going on for years) huge problems with attitude within almost every player at the club, and this starts with the administration. How they are still in charge is beyond my understanding. 11 years of coach’s being under pressure.
Why is there no pressure on the players?

Club takes the soft option every step of the way which bleeds onto the pitch. Exhibit A is our stupid home ground situation.

Some of the comments highlight the problem like balmain did this wests did that ,wests have these board seats balmain have those etc etc . What I want is ONE club called wests tigers .maybe that's just dreaming after all look at all the other mergers Manly/ Nth Sydney .The bears got screwed ,then St george and Illawarra Steelers .The "Illawarra " disappeared and the "Steelers" disappeared. Everybody says WT are not popular destination because they have no identity .It is the only merger where both clubs still exist in their own right . To me its the only merger where one side didn't screw the other but I wish Wests Tigers is truly ONE club at NRL and Cup level and all board and management are just Wests Tigers members .On that basis they can be strong.

Why don’t the fans of Wests Tigers band together and buy the club? Apparently there are 400,000 of us. Any out there savvy enough to organise this. I’m in.

I reckon you’d need about 25,000 shareholders to get it up and running. Less if you had a couple of large majority shareholders. Hopefully someone with the business acumen is out there.
I would buy tomorrow. They should name the price. Any short fall we can chuck in change for change .
