Stop the back stabing and get behind the boys

Well most of you here wanted benji dropped. Well you saw what happened last night we copped 18 points in 16 mins and the game was over. we had nothing in attack and the young kids that were out there had no one to look to ie Benji. Whether you like him or not he is our best player and has done more brilliant things than any other half has done for our club. Instead of back stabbing the guy who is down on form get behind him.

I am sick of the comments on here drop him or drop that guy for a young guy coming through. Well we had 7 players that were in the under 20's last year playing last night, the boys are too raw, too inexperienced for the likes of ingelis, Sutton, burgess and luke. Everyone needs to wake up get behind these guys. I am appauled that we would boo off our team as was the case in cambo the other week. Would never happen at leichhardt..

So I am hoping next few weeks we get some senior guys back and we get more into the grind. Potter is trying to get us to grind. We have a big problem in doing this, but as the floggings come this team will have to grind.

Guys write this year off.. this is a rebuild year and just get behind the boys. They did some good and some bad last night but these young kids are learning, they need benji, Robbie, Lawrence, blair, Galloway to name a few.

I understand your sentiment, and i agree about the kids out there being raw. I think Benji did more in his 60 mins last night than he has all year, so personally the kick up the backside worked. As for the team never being booed off at Leichhardt…....you're wrong. Ive been there and seen it happen. It happens when it is percieved the team is not showing any heart, courage or commtiment, as was the case for a number of senior players last night. All people ask, is no matter what, the players have a dig, afterall both the foundation clubs were known for that.

i wasnt a magpies fan and wasnt a balmain fan, became a wests tigers fan when the joint venture started after turning away from the game during the super league crap… so sick of hearing the us v them, campbelltown v leichhardt arguements that go on.... get over it and move on. Support the team as one and get behind them

All im saying is some posts are a disgrace. Wanting players injured or even agreeing with a bulldogs scumbag about benjis form is woeful. Stick by them through the tough times. Potter is doing his best. I was there in 05 and i will never forget what benji did and he can still do that today. It just needs to click. As for the arguement about cambo. We should not play there. Leichhardt oval is the home of balmain and lidcombe oval for magies

Have to disagree. If you want us to be competitive we have to blood the youngsters and get rid of the non performers like Blair. I dont care if it takes three years I just want a structure in place that will do this. If Potter is the person to lead this transition, so be it. We cannot keep paying senior players like Blair when it is obvious they do not have any pride in the jersey!
We need to rebuild and it takes time but most importantly we need the right structure in place and the people with the skills and passion to see it through.

Will be honest, am on old Balmain supporter who generally doesn't go to Campbelltown. People can knock me for it, couldn't care less. At least I'm honest

However I do feel that this entitles me to call the OP on this point given my hatred for Campbelltown a place I certainly wouldn't stick up for for no reason. You are 100% right. I certainly remember the JV being booed off Leichhardt after conceding 30+ in a half against Parramatta one day between 2001-2003 (60+ by FT). Were utterly disgraceful that day and the crowd jeered them accordingly.

"Wouldn't happen at Leichhardt"… Bullshit

When they start tackling, the crowds at Leichhardt, Campbelltown, Alliance, basically everywhere might give them a break. Until then, they deserve what they get

In a Telegraph article from yesterday Robbie Farah is quoted about the current situation playing on his mind and the minds of the young up and comers. Down on confidence big time. I wondered about this during the game when Farah asked the ref to give him a break after his try was denied. Farah appeared beat, and Farah just doesn't get beat. And if Farah's beat what about the boys?

What is our role in all this? Well we're supposed to be supporters. Do we support? I'm only new to this forum and I know that there are probably members who like to big note themselves and trolls on here trying to stir the pot etc but the vitriol spewed by some of the 'supporters' dismays me. I think; What if the team is reading this? What is doing for their confidence? I've got no drama with members trying to discuss issues and understand problems with performance and I understand that we/I will get frustrated at times but some of the personal attacks go way beyond that. There are times when I think we should rename this forum the Hyaenas. That's what we behave like, not like Tigers. Out in the dark, on the fringe, laughing and harassing. It's disgraceful.

For all the hyaenas in this forum I have the answer to all your gripes. You hang it on the coach, you hang it on Benji, you hang it on virtually every player except for Farah and Woods. So why don't you go 'support' another team? There are only two players on this team you'll miss and I guarantee that they won't miss you.

Go Tigers!

Like it or not we are JV. Bamain in the NRL is dead so are Magpies .CSS LO might be a thing of the past if supporters don't support there team. They are not Balmain when they play at LO and they are not Magpies when they play at CSS.I can't understand the logic. Got to get over it guys. You guys with all due respect are holding the Wests backfom developing into a united successful club. As for the booing what a load of crap the only booing was aimed towards the Refs when they walked out and that happens at every ground.Total BS fabricated to suit your own pathetic arguments. West Tigers or walk the club is bigger than so called supporters.

Ironic…given your last two lines.

You are divisive, accept the JV or P off

forum is a place to vent frustration and disappointment.
we are all passionate supporters, and cope in our own ways.
each season, some players become the sacrificial scape goats.

for many years it was Fitzy,
then when he moved on it became, Tim Sheens and Tim Moltzen.

we cannot change the injury toll on the team. it happens in a contact sport, and for some reason our beloved wests-tigers do not seem to cope as well as other teams.
.
now, reasons for the losses are being intensely scrutinised and individual performances are under the microscope, and certain players are being targeted.

being a wests-tigers supporter can give you, all aspects of the emotional medium, highs, lows, anger, frustration etc..yes the team is not performing to all our expectations, but I would not ever consider of supporting any other team.
they will come through this and once again be a dominant force.

I know this guys…...I try make my criticism constructive and definitely not personal. But come Friday night I will be there cheering them all on and hoping for the best.

We have to accept that all teams go through low troughs and high peaks. Even bulldogs who played in the GF last year can't get moving this year. The truth is with disciplined application, determination and support from coaches, the players themselves and the fans especially these teams can force themselves out of the ruts. This season has still a long way to go. Just remember where Wests Tigers were placed mid season during 2005, the year they won the premiership. Don't run any of our players down. Stick with your team, show some heart and provide them with the support they desperately need.

We have to stand by our team rain, hail or shine.. Thats a mark of a true supporter.. We will get through this..

Its tough times but it will eventually pass.

what the hell makes ur opinion more right than mine, benji has been dogging it on his team mates for weeks, yet u want to start the turn stile, wake up and smell the rich smell of defeat. he should have been dumped th the nsw cup along with 4-5 of his mates.
I am a loyal fan but iam not a sheep who will follow just because its not cool to give a opinion, if they are crap i will say so. its a forum not for people to have a go at other people for there views.
MY view benji has lost his nerve and should be let go to free up money to buy some forwards.
