Storm and Souths

How good it was to see Melbourne completely dominate Souths. What really impressed me was how the forwards ran hard and straight, their 6 and 7 did not crab across field the fullback runs hard, puts his body on the line.

The more I see the Storm play the more I hope the keep going this year.

With all the talk about Manly, Canterbury and Souths, it really has been the Storm flying under the radar this year. In my opinion they are the favourites to take it out.

As Gus said, a bunch of flat track bullies the Rabbitohs. Superstars against the lower teams, can't handle the top ones. They'll look like superstars next week if they get the Raiders. Might have a tougher time with the Sharks

As much as I hate Souths, I hate the Storm much more - hope they choke in the Prelim final again like last year. Agreed though, they did play well. Shut down Inglis completely, he is a frontrunner who rarely stands out in a beaten side IMO.

Slater's try was very, very dodgy (can't see how it is possible to have downward pressure when your hand is UNDERNEATH the footy???). Storm got the rub of the green from the refs no doubt about it

I couldn't get over Rabbs' statement before the game saying even though they cheated the salary cap you had to be impressed by the team they assembled a few years back. Hey Ray- if you cheat the system any team can have a superstar team you senile old goose! Geez that bloke can dribble

The cheating extends to QLD…..you have an illegally assembled squad of stars that also form the basis of the QLD squad.

Yeh, they play well......but it is still all on the back of fraud and cheating

Not until every one of the players and staff involved are gone can they start a fresh slate

Yeah I still can't comprehend the fact that Cameron Smith's "punishment" for being a liar and a cheat is to be able to captain his state and his country. Unbelievable. Him and the others should have been rubbed out of the game for several years if not life IMO.

Would prefer Melbourne than Manly and Dogs. Souths honestly can't win it and wouldn't be surprised if they lose next week.
Cowboys would be preferable to win but I'm not sure how that will go just yet.
Refs against them or not they got dominated and the better team won. Souths were hardly in the game.

dont like storm for the reasons many mentioned
manly looked pedestrian in attack
rabbitohs will only go further if reynolds takes control, but imo he's not that good yet
bulldogs i hate them with a passion

I thought the Storm gave the bunnies a real education in finals footy last night. Souths showed little respect for the ball or for what their opponents may do. Can they come back from it?? Good question, playing the Raiders next week will be a banana skin for them and of the 6 remaining sides left, i'd say they sit 5th out of those 6 in terms of titles chances.
