Well we all know storm is one of the dirtiest teams but for once the footy show put billy under pressure showing them the watmough interview.

Billy had nfi. Brilliant to watch- wish it was cam smith instead of billy though.

Weidler did an interview with watbro where he said storm have developed this tactic of lifting players up and then putting them down very slowly to slow down the ruck.

They showed that interview to billy on the footy show and he kept going on about how watmough doesn't know what he is talking about and that storm would be stupid to put people in dangerous position. Billy looked absolutely lost out there.

Cheers prmz…..now I think about it they do often do that...they make it look like its a lift thats going wrong and they then gently return the player safely, but all the while its slow and deliberate

In the fallout after the Knights game, I was trying to get at the same thing, it wasnt a tackle gone wrong, but a tactic gone wrong, before Alex piad so dearly the Storm had already been penalised for the exact same breach and got away with a few more… and thats a disgrace.

They need to be put under higher scrutiny from the refs, they consistantly push the envelope in dangerous and deliberate fashions, once they begin to set a pattern they should be put under the refs microscope and penalised out of the game immediately... it seems the only way they will learn.

It may just be me, but i have been noticing the chicken wing has crept back into their arsenal as well lately...

Jealousy is a curse Dazza

That chip on each shoulder we carry is from holding onto the shield for so long

Surprised some Qld players don't have RSI's from doing so

Billy has a LOOOOOOOONG history of grubbery on the field. whether it be knees, scratching, sledging depression victims, kicking out at players on jumps for the ball, elbows in faces in tackles etc - it's all pansy niggle stuff. Park footy players who do this generally get touched up because their skills are lacking.

And I know what gonna be said - "remember the wolfman thing where billy cradled his neck.?"

Sorry. One kind act where the guys head ended up in his lap anyways and Billy didn't get much of a choice but to not move doesn't make him an angel - he has a long career of heinous grubby acts.
