Just watched the Bellyache/Ham Smith presser on the defeat. @ 3m15s…..

"If we are fair-dinkum (sic) and play to our capabilities we should never lose these games; no disrespect to the Wests Tigers but if we play to our capabilities we should have come away with the 2 points tonight"

Well you didn't and you are a toss pot. This is why you are one of the great turds.
 
As much as I hate Smith and with no disrespect to us, if Storm were to play to their capabilities, they should beat us.
We're not coming equal last for nothing !

Storm lose a game: We weren't at our peak and that's unacceptable, we should have beat our opposition.

Wests lose a game: We may have conceded 40 points but I feel we defended well.

I wonder why Melbourne are vying for a top four spot…?

I know hey.

Clearly, if Tigers play to their best every week, we can also knock over most sides. Just that we only manage it 4 or 5 times a yer.
 
Cam Smith is correct though as much as it sounds cocky . Had they applied and played to there capabilities they would of beaten us BUT they were out enthused and were beaten by a better side on the Day .
They basically thought it would of been a cake walk but when they realised they had a game on there hands was to late .
No denying they are a better side at this moment in time .
 
I'm glad I wasn't the only one infuriated with Smith's comment. The ego on the guy is astounding.

… and saying "No offence, BUT.... <insert offence="" here="">" makes him sound like a bloody teenage girl.</insert>

You are obviously blaming Taylor for the young team's inconsistency but I know which team I like to follow and it is isn't Melbourne.
 
But the 5th rank side should beat the 16th ranked side

Sometimes it doesn't go to plan

They might be trying to shake off the Leichhardt hoodoo as well , they don't win often at the old girl

I am trying to remember where Wests Tigers were ranked in 2005 with about nine rounds to go. Uncertainty is the beauty of sport.

Not so much referring to the comment, but the attitude behind it. The uncompromising attitude is something our boys could do with, rather than the patented Wests Tigers "when it gets too tough, just fold in."

We had just beaten the Saints without their SOO stars

They are just frustrated at losing many games to team ranked below them

How many times did that happen to us from 2006-2011
