Suli needs a break

You took the words right out of my mouth, Suli doesn't need a break he needs to pull his finger out.
 
lol he is hardly a concern or problem. Talk about being dramatic. Anyone who thinks playing him in ISP would be good have no idea - how would demoting one of our better players to a grade that is less than NRL & get thumped like first grade will help him out.

He gets no decent ball and all his runs are basically from kick returns, dummy half or hitups.
 
His defensive standards have dropped markedly in the last 3 games or so. He used to make heavy contract and hold, now he is regularly dropping off tackles, or not making the effort to get to a a runner.

He's played centre for most of his career. What position do you think he plays?

If we demoted every player who was dropping off tackles we'd be unable to field a team every week.
 
Exactly what form are you people claiming he has dropped?
He has been solid and nothing more this year.
This isnt summer holiday camp, it's a professional first grade football team. He has tonnes to learn and has proven he can handle firsts. This is where his education must be undertaken.

Needs a rest? I may just laugh at that….. :laughing:

As if that matters ATM…did no harm to Latrell Mitchell having a rest has come back and smashed it....Suli has been poor of late...massive ask for an 18 y.o to play week in week out NRL especially in our team..Josh Aloiai played every game last year through injury for the most part ..the Game takes it's toll on young players...

So who do you replace him with? Our State Cup mob couldn't beat an egg.

Yes he needs some early ball and get that log Lovett out of his road.

Have to agree MT,the one thing that will bring a young player like Suli down in confidence is being given hospital passes or passes that no one else wants to run the ball with and relying on him to do the hard yards..I also agree that he is a professional athlete,however he does need to learn some of the hard lessons that the NRL can dish up,Im not going to bag Brooks,but he is the one who should be leading this team around,but then again he is a kid still learning as well in my opinion..Suli will do much better when the Grub arrives,he will have someone to show him the way without him being relied upon to take the hard hit ups to get us in good positions.The more seasoned recruits will also help him develope….Suli in my opinion will be an NRL superstar in the next few years....
 
I would give him a break. We should look at the big picture by freshening Suli up and having a look at Heleta. Nothing to lose this season. It's a wash.

Cotric is playing wing in a physically huge team. Kev and Nofoaluma are midgets and no doubt Suli attracts quite a few defenders every time he runs.
 
He is above ISP level and that of his competitors at WT, so first grade it is. Coaches are working him out a bit as they do with every player.
 
Just watched the highlights of the game and the ball Lolohea (I think) gave Suli in the lead up to the Kev try was great. Even better how Lolohea straightened up to provide room for Suli and then Suli's pass to send Kev away. Liked it a lot and hopefully a taste of the future.
 
Had a great game on Sunday and if he can get the ball in-hand more than usual he will only gain in confidence.

Moses Suli is really exciting to me!
 
The weekend showed he doesn't need a rest he just needs the forwards to get a roll on so he can get some space. He is playing brilliantly for an 18 year old making the leap to first grade
