It’s safe to say most of us did not predict just how dynamic and impactful he would be.
Speed, finishing, hitups, attitude. All absolutely top class.
We talk about May, Api, Pole every week and the same guys mostly feature in the 3,2,1.
But this guy has been so bloody impressive. His go forward, effect on the team and the scoreboard is not spoken about enough nor rated near as highly as it should.
And I’m going to call it. If he plays like this for a couple of seasons, he will easily be in the discussion for best wingers we have ever had.

He is a learner of the game. Studies it and always trying to evolve. I wanted him here for years and we definitely have a good one signed.
The thing that has surprised me the most is how his impact has been on Toa. Toa is turning into a consistent player and have zero doubts Turuva is a big influence around his position/trust & space.
just needs to keep away from Instagram 🙂

Just thankful he's playing wing instead of centre. Would be wasted inside.
I know his work doesn't go unnoticed here, but still think he's flying under the radar a bit.
He has been an amazing signing so far, loving his work on and off the field. Sitting 2nd in the top try scorers with 9, and playing consistently well. Refreshing having such a finisher and meter eater.

Just thought I would say this guy was massive yesterday. The work that him and Skelton do is so underestimated.
Turuva yesterday in particular was amazing with his carries. He actually made more metres than our backrow of Sukkar, Seyfarth and Fainu combined (185m vs 172m for the backrow). Sometimes winger stats are inflated with line breaks as well, and this was not the case, that was 185m of hard running. Turuva and Skelton at least to some degree, are making up for our complete inept backrow.

- a healthy Latu Fainu
- an in form Starford Toa
