Just finished watching the game,

The pass rush and secondary for TB was fantastic


Truth!

Mahomes didn't have time all game, even when he got a little bit of time the secondary was all over his receivers. He was still remarkable and made chances no other QB could have but was let down quite badly by his receivers.

I wouldnt say let down by his receivers more that his receivers were taken out of the game by the best young secondary in the league.

Yeah mate I agree with that, its just at that level and against the excellent defensive performance of the Bucs, you have to take the chances you manage to create or you lose 31-9.

Mahomes created some chances that he shouldn't have been able to, his receivers needed to make something of those chances. Yes I know they were very difficult chances but they were better than what any other QB creates under the same circumstances. If they manage to pull some of those chances then it is a lot closer game.


Kelce did his job, The others id say like Hardman are overpaid

I got the feeling that Mahomes panicked a little ....I thought if KC scored early in the 4th and got the extra point it would have put a lot of pressure back on the Bucs ....the 1st touchdown was crucial ....not saying they win ...but pressure ( as we saw ) creates error

How did the Bucs break the game open ......GOAT throws a Hail Mary with 50 seconds left in the 2nd quarter and draws a penalty ..it was just amazing to see how he attacked that play ..... and how that messed with the Chiefs defence heads ...they lost the plot right then and there .....and then when you see the reaction from Chief's defensine leader after Gronk scores ...it was game over basically ...Cam Smith written all over it in NRL terms ..right call ..almost every single time

I don't agree with the bagging Bellichik is copping though. He was tight with Brady and I think he did him a favour and told him to go elsewhere rather than flog the dead horse in Boston. Bucs already had an excellent defence, add Brady, Gronk, Brown and Fournette all in one go on top of a good draft...Presto!

The pass rush and secondary for TB was fantastic


Truth!

Mahomes didn't have time all game, even when he got a little bit of time the secondary was all over his receivers. He was still remarkable and made chances no other QB could have but was let down quite badly by his receivers.

I wouldnt say let down by his receivers more that his receivers were taken out of the game by the best young secondary in the league.

Yeah mate I agree with that, its just at that level and against the excellent defensive performance of the Bucs, you have to take the chances you manage to create or you lose 31-9.

Mahomes created some chances that he shouldn't have been able to, his receivers needed to make something of those chances. Yes I know they were very difficult chances but they were better than what any other QB creates under the same circumstances. If they manage to pull some of those chances then it is a lot closer game.


Kelce did his job, The others id say like Hardman are overpaid

I got the feeling that Mahomes panicked a little ....I thought if KC scored early in the 4th and got the extra point it would have put a lot of pressure back on the Bucs ....the 1st touchdown was crucial ....not saying they win ...but pressure ( as we saw ) creates error

Thought the comments by the commentators about shutting down Hill and then becoming being predictable with Kelce the only other redzone option says it all. Chiefs need more WR talent. Cant all be on Mahomes arm

Yeah and too many low percentage plays ...I thought the other comment about the Bucs having such an upside into the future with such a young side very true as well ...if and when the GOAT retires ...they get a high quality QB to replace him they will still be a strong outfit

The low percentage plays were his only option as his receivers were covered and he was running for his life.

Think rugby league with forward passes, and obstructions. Defence has to retreat 10cm instead of 10m. You get 4 tackles to make 10 metres. Plus you get 40 seconds to play the ball, meaning you can discuss who’s going to take the next hit up!
