I would not be upset if Justin Potato fails to get reinstated.

I just don't buy this belief that he's been fantastic. Much of the positive change at the club was done by Cleary.

I think he is a good commercial operations manager but the CEO's role maybe beyond his abilities. This is a pretty big mistake to make.

I think you've absolutely nailed it mate. I fully agree.

Pascoe has done more for this club than Cleary. We have turned the corner under his leadership. We now have a well run club and are heading in the right direction.

Most of the reason for comments like this are because Cleary turned his back on the club, whether you admit it or not.

We have a well run club, that got caught making a dopey agreement with a current player that could've just been kept between the club and player and then offered once Farah retired. While it may have appeared transparent and honest to go public with the offer, no other clubs do that shit and get away with it. Follow the smart play.

Instead it appears that the ambassador offer has been used to lure a player to the club. That was just dumb. The club is going well despite Pascoe.

Name a Wests Tigers CEO from the last 10 years who was a better CEO than Pascoe. In my opinion others were terrible and almost put the club in very severe financial positions.

That's not a sound or logical argument.

If I said to you choose between 6 pieces of poo and tell me which one tastes the best, it does not mean that poo tastes good.

He's good at Corporate sponsorship dealings, but that's about it. His amateur dealing of the Farah ambassador deal shows he isn't CEO material.

Well he appointed his mate as our coach.

Which most of this forum were very happy about at the time.

That doesn't make him less accountable.

Absolute rubbish. I was a fan of Justin Pascoe early days.

I and many others can tell the difference between what Ivan brought to the playing group and what Justin brought to the brand and our governance.

If your a dung beetle that is perfect logic Unit

Is it coincidental that the club has turned around it off field fortunes since Pascoe was hired

Before we throw Pascoe under the bus lets see what happens with the NRL investigation 1st

If it comes out he has shown gross incompetence the decision will be partly made for us with the NRL decision

And no doubt the club will act accordingly

But we then come back to the next question , who put someone in a major role at the club when they were totally incapable of doing or was at great risk of doing so competently

That person / persons then needs to be questioned about their incompetency or lack of accountability when making a major decision

Pascoe has done a good job but Wests Ashfield have called the shots the impact of him not being there will it be as great as people think.

I only deal in facts, not rubbish. Pascoe is a muppet. This club has been handed a golden opportunity to hire a proper CEO. Fight the fine/cap punishment, but not his de-registration.

I'm sure we can have that conversation now.

How many of the hirers and firers who hired Mayer, sacked Potter, hired Taylor and allowed this dimwitted contract offer to Farah?

If this comes down to inter-board politics between Balmain and Wests, then all people with that mentality should be immediately sacked.

20 years this year and that bullshit still exists ffs.

Absolute garbage. What an insulting, unnecessary post. Pascoe has had a huge hand in raising this club out of near ruin. He should be part of our future.

Agreed Pascoe is the best CEO we have had by a large margin.

Right on queue. Of course you’d defend personally insulting posts
