SUPPORT YOUR TEAM!!!

Hey guys, Throughout the 2010 season i became a massive Wests Tigers fan… and i now really love the sport and REALLY support the Wests Tigers, and have recently become a Wests Tigers gold member for all home games.

Now at our last game against the dragons at ANZ, i was amazed at the st George supporters for all the effort they go to with things to support their team such as flags and whatnot.

This year i have decided i am going to put some time into making something that stands out in the crowd like a flag or banner to support our team throughout the 2011 season (oh what a season its going to be)

Anyone here that has any idea where i can get some materials such as flag or banner poles, what material is best (i.e. wood, plastic, etc...) or where i could find some high quality images of our logo (planning on contacting concord gearzone and asking if one is available directly through them) or anything else, post here your ideas!

You can get some cheap material thats mostly cotton at a place like Spotlight but I found a cheaper place in Campbelltown on Dumaresq Street. You have to make sure you get the right paint otherwise it will start peeling off. Make sure you get FABRIC paint! I got some from Macarthur Square in a shop that's near the Games Workshop store. The wooden poles I just got from Bunnings. I think they were only about $5 each. That's how I made my C'MON WESTS banner. For my big WESTS TIGERS SHINING BRIGHT banner I just cut out the letters from black material and sowed it onto orange material. I used these retractable metal poles, I think what they use for those pool cleaners. If you are making a big banner or flag then you should get the General Admission season membership instead and join The Jungle!

Well done Alien for the amount of effort you put into supporting the mighty Wests Tigers. Sounds like Marko will be doing the same.
