I've been happy with Idris' gradual improvement so far. The only other option I see is Suli moving to the centres.

Perhaps this would signal a move into the back row for Idris? I know JT was big on him playing centre, perhaps Cleary has other ideas.

Thanks, was forgetting about releasing Moses early, which we'll need to do if we want new players to start immediately. Isn't Moses salary around $600k this year?

I would go down that path for sure. Idris defence is pretty good and having him on the edge defending someone like Brooks makes a lot of sense. Suli and Milne would be the centre pairing I'd go with if Milne does sign.

No the rumour was, and it was only a rumour, that we were over by about $20k. Simona, by guess, was on somewhere between $325,000 to $375,000\. That should leave us plenty to get Milne, particularly with Paseka freeing some cash up. I assume that would be between $50,000 to $85,000.

Idris has to get his legs under him he crumbles when his momentum is stopped. He is not fit enough to play in the backrow. If Milne comes in Idris won't be in first grade.
