Taane Milne (official)

Details have emerged…2 year deal. Would say its all done now and in cooling off. Usually when theres details its true.

We are shaping nicely for next year, I really hope Tui fits in at the back well and doesn't plod

I like this backline, hopefully tui gets in shape during preseason.

Yes backline is taking shape … need to start looking at the bench. Also looking forward to Taane coming on board.

I reckon the reason Ivan brought Tui over is to get him match fit and build his confidence this year along with blooding him into new patterns and teammates. We also need Marsters and Felise to play out the rest of the season. I wouldn't mind seeing ET move to the second row and play out a wider for the remaining part of the season. Frankly, I do not care where they finish this year as long as some of our boys start to get into shape for 2018.
 
Agreed. The best thing about being at the bottom of the ladder is blooding new players and trying different positions.

If taane and fonua are signed then all we have to worry bout is a solid front rower and dynamic 2nd rower. We have so much depth now they can fight for positions.

Lawrence, marsters,jj felise,twal (new front rower), mck, tatula, liddle. Be great.

Would love elliot and paasi to finish off our 17\. an extra fullback would be good too.

Look at the age of some of our boys - Liddle (21), Marsters (21), Suli (19), Felise (21) and Lolohea (22). I say let these five play out whats left of the season and alongside Woods and Teddy. Twelve games left that would be invaluable experience alongside woodsy and teddy and they'll be ready for next year. Ivan can lay down the law and what he wants of each. I can see the remaining matches as being invaluable to the development of the young ones and in preparation for 2018.

Thompson will be a backup fringe NRL player.
