Take the 2!

Up by 12 midway through the 2nd half and instead of taking the kick to get outside two converted tries we take the tap…
What a painfully dumb decision.

And how many times have we seen this. Its remarkable for the Tigers to lead by 12 half way through the second half in any game. To get 14 in front would have been massive.

Wouldn't of made a difference, we still would have lost it, we can't play for 80mins and we don't know how to put a team to sleep once we have them on the ropes.

I disagree ,,we had the run but we let them back into the game

The turning point IMO

A lead of 14….... a rest for the forwards ....and pressure on Parra....would have made ALL the difference

We were on top at the time….14 would of seen us climb over them more mentally

It was THE turning point, its where the game was lost and it rests with Moses

I had no problem with the quick tap, but once that was called back (why, after tapping on the spot?) and they had reset, two points was the go to play.

I said 'take the two, take the two, take the two, take the two, there not going to. Then I said Ivan what where you thinking!!!! FMD

We had a couple of opportunities to take the two. Once you do it three times it looks just like a converted try! And you get the ball back each time!

Yep we get the ball back…..but coming out of trouble we are usually good for a fumble or two.
Thought it was the right idea at the time, they were exhausted and we had them on the rack.
The shot at goal was from 30m or more out wasn't it? And on a 45° angle? No gimme. Easy in hindsight, it wasn't the game breaker IMO.

The worst thing was it wasn't a split decision , Vave was getting attention from Moeroa spreading his nose further across his face and the trainer is standing their pointing at the posts

Can you imagine ignoring a coach like Warren Ryan like that ….

You buttocks would hit the bench faster than Isaac Moses could say "10% please"

And you'd need counselling for three months after the next video session when he had covered you in about 3 mega litres of saliva

If I was Cleary I would have left the box , come down to sideline , called Moses over and given him the spray of all sprays

Players that doesn't listen to coaches :brick: , no wonder they are leaving , accountability just entered the room and slammed them up and against a wall :imp:

No it didn't, or else they would have taken the 2\. No accountability.
Can't believe Ivan hasn't told them to scrap the midfield bomb that brings no pressure or results, kick the friggin thing hard and low towards touch to close a game out. Our kicking game is the worst part of our whole game-plan. Oh that and getting caught running it on the last tackle. Frustrating to say the least .

We jettisoned the guy that had the good kicks. Not to worry - she'll be right mate.
