Taking a wrecking ball to the club! (Recent Media Reports)

Lets look at the timeline

From Gary Leo's comments, I can see there were two immediate counter-voices with Danny and Benny. Danny's voice is more important than Shane's in this scenario as a board member, and Benny adds a lot of weight to it. That came out on the 30th of August, which was a Friday. Then Richo came out on the 2nd with the video, which was on Monday. I think you might be being a little bit harsh on this one.

As for Richo talking about Barry. You've heard him before talk about how important it was for him to have a strong relationship with the chair to turn a club around, like he did at souths. He is purely giving his advice on this one with the news that Barry would have to interview (which is just dumb).

I don't mind if Julie is on the board. The challenge has just got to be that we have enough independent voices so we're ruled by selected individuals, rather than entrenched individuals.

We probably wouldn't have such a significant issue if there was no such thing as the debenture holders at HDB and that there were club-based elections. How they managed that in a non-profit bamboozles me.
Julie Romero was appointed back in April long before the Balmain Tigers directors emails wanting out of JV.

Wests Tigers aren't the only club where cowboys 😉 attempt to overthrow the rightful leaders.

At last night's extraordinary General Meeting of Parramatta Leagues Club, a small group of disinfected members sought to remove 4 directors who had previously been democratically elected by its members in an attempt to gain control of the Club.

Rightful leaders 🤣😂😅

And on a related note, how would one disinfect the Board?

Do you mean people get to vote on the majority of the board? Wow. If only we had that.

Now her names been deleted from the thread title... I can never remember it... Julie someone... Proves just how faceless the blazer brigade are
No ink,

Firstly there is a question of legal implications.

Secondly the thread was so off topic it made sense to allow discussions continue....
