I did not see anything that proved even Simpkin > Liddle; with Koroisau and Farah and outstanding forwards, he had a chance to prove that he MUST be our next 9, but his effort THIS season has shown that he is a myth. 😢

He is very fast out of dummy half and can pass both ways...his passing and creativity is much better than Jake already. He is similar to Api with his guile. A natural and, IMO, will be a star.

But...he is 18...and, even then, only just 18.

So, he won't have a Bula like impact. Bula is three years older / three years more physically developed.

Wonder if we watched the same games. I saw him a few time for the Magpies and he looked class and way above that level. This was a few years ago now. He lost crucial development years to covid. Also Madge was a terrible development coach.
