I tried supporting Benji as a coach, but his brains are in his backside and his arrogance in most interviews paints a picture as to the likely reason he gets offside with so many people.I don't want Benji gone, but I will if he continues utilising Api this way. Oh, plus not selecting Latu at half and wasting an interchange or a bench forward in matches that we are behind in.
Benjis window of “partial success” is closing.I hope your vote counts
What is more interesting is your way of thinking. Maybe we all have a little bit off Benji in all of us.Benjis window of “partial success” is closing.
I figure he thinks he needs Api to keep his own prospects viable.
What interests me about Benji is that he seems to excel in the counter-intuitive.
And he feeds his appetite for risk from the wrong plate.
We do, but by the law of averages we should get things right half of the time. What is more interesting is your way of thinking. Maybe we all have a little bit off Benji in all of us.
That’s a relief.It's not a bad thing.
Your writing is getting better. That's for sure. Terrell is your best player. My best player is my girl. We all different. Man.We do, but by the law of averages we should get things right half of the time.
Benji is at 30% win rate with just about all the squad he wanted.
Terrell is our best player and the giant magpie in the sky dropped him on us by complete accident.
Yeah, Terrell is still my favourite player.Your writing is getting better. That's for sure. Terrell is your best player. My best player is my girl. We all different. Man.
Yeah, Terrell is still my favourite player.
He probably hasn’t cottoned on that we live in a perpetual crisis here. Oblivious to it. Like you lol.
I’ll get there…!Damn right.
Because he benched TDS ? lol the kid was only on the bench in case luai couldn’t make the 80 … so api-7 tds 9 . Otherwise it would have been Sukkar . I’m sure in hindsight Benji would have gone Sukkar and brought off seyfart . Other clubs benched and rested thier stars . We didn’t have the luxury .I tried supporting Benji as a coach, but his brains are in his backside and his arrogance in most interviews paints a picture as to the likely reason he gets offside with so many people.
Yes I agree but if both players are wanting an extension now for 2028, wouldn’t one of them be given a sense of priority over the other?Unfortunatley that is a short sighted approach. We don't know that Api will be that far in decline and we also don't know that TDS will have developed to the position that he pushes Api out. The approach is to structure a deal that meets both player's needs. Api knows that he will have to hand over the reigns at some point, but he is definitely worth more in advice and mentorship than back up hooker $ - less than what he is on - probably - but you don't keep quality without paying for it. Banking everything on TDS is also a risk - he simply isn't there yet. He is developing nicely - but he does not have the deception and cunning of Api.
Is there room for two hookers in 27? In my book yes; providing we have developed TDS properly. Api may become the 14, or he may start and TDS comes on agaisnt tired legs - it will all depend on how TDS develops and how far Api declines.
There is a deal to be made - in fact I'm pretty sure it is has been discussed with TDS, and his management want to see what else is on the table before signing up. That isn't a problem and we have time.
This isn't an Api or TDS issue so we shouldn't have pro Api - or pro TDS discussion - it should be about how we keep both.
I'm not so sure - it depends on how the deal is structured. Richo and Benji need to put forward a plan where both have the opportunity to stay. Api and Tallyn are probably at the point where there can be big $ over the short term with new franchises opening up. Without knowing what we have coming in the door we need to look at the short and long term goals of the organisation. Who is the best fit for a title shot in 26/27? That is what we are looking at; results now as opposed to results in 28/29 or in ten years time.Yes I agree but if both players are wanting an extension now for 2028, wouldn’t one of them be given a sense of priority over the other?
So maybe they can put caveats or benchmarks in there contracts outlining a pathway for TDS to be the number one hooker.
So as long as API is happy to take a pay cut then fine but I’d be surprised if API would be up for that considering other possibilities.
If you read and believe this exchange, suggestions of a "transition" plan are worthless.Yes I agree but if both players are wanting an extension now for 2028, wouldn’t one of them be given a sense of priority over the other?

Got news for you champ and it is all bad, Benji will be here for the long haul Richo ain't getting rid of him.Benjis window of “partial success” is closing.
