Who’s your uncle ?

Uncle knocked around with Grant at High school, and footy. He didn’t say yet but I know Grants sister used to come around, she was a good sort and witty. I was a young teenager and I liked her.
He said there’s a few good stories there, but I will have to tell you in person. Next week.
I think Grant stopped hanging bcoz of football and he got a trade as an electrician, and started doing the right things in life.

BREAKING: Tallyn Da Silva has signed a long-term deal with the Parramatta Eels with the young hooker joining the club with immediate effect.

Da Silva will form a lethal 1-2 partnership with Ryley Smith in the coming seasons.

Really disappointing. Why is it this kid can’t see out his contract?
Are we letting everyone go immediately if they/we don’t wanna extend?

I think it’s as simple as TDS wants to play NRL now. His manager obviously wants him to sign a new contract now. Richo and Benji don’t want to choose him over Api and must believe they have a good succession plan in place.
Richo has repeatedly said he only wants players that want to be here and TDS has been a loyal junior until now. So letting him go is probably the best thing for all parties and I’m sure there’s something in it for us - Richo is pretty shrewd I think. Lets see what plays out.

Mate I just go to the pub or club meet up with the old p!SS heads and chat lots of rumours 1 guy I know volunteers at Junior leagues taping up the kids match day and use to tape two NRL teams he has lots of gossip as well but it's just rumour until it comes true

But the Canterbury and Kikau rumour has legs I have heard that before apparently the young forwards have kicked on more then planned and they have the young Newcastle guy coming and picked up the guy from the dragon's

It's not a player swap. I don't know why they released him early but you can't expect the players you would like to get in return will want to come
Pretty sure the Roosters released Dom Young and Brandon Smith without getting anything in return from either clclub.

Two overpaid players who they had absolutely no need for, versus a junior contracted for another year and our back up hooker...

Maybe its about money. If you believe recent reports we aren’t doing too well compared to other clubs. We don’t know what has transpired behind the scene.
If you’re referring in particular to letting Galvin go - I’m not sure we know the whole truth on that. Furthermore with him I am actually happy he’s gone.

The rumour I find very interesting is an I posted Katoa to Souths and no-one is talking about it and was it today the Dolphins being linked to the English half back George Williams

So I think it really has legs why would the dolphins be looking at getting the English half for next year if they have Katoa

Yeah I’m happy Galvin has gone, but let me see…there’s been Bateman, Klemmer, Galvin and Da Silva all released early from their contracts within 6 months without a single player in return. It’s not about the money, we have plenty of money. It’s just stupidity. We have zero depth!
