Tallyn Da Silva #270

Incorrect, a HIA gives you a free interchange. We should get Royce to stay down for a HIA after he's been on the field for 15 minutes to take advantage of the free interchange. Smarter teams are doing it, and getting away with it
How does that help if it's one of your best players being interchanged for acting like he copped a head knock and replaced by say Bird, it's no advantage at all.

Can be very advantageous if it is stage managed correctly.

It has come to light now that even the dim wits that run the NRL have noticed that this loop hole is being manipulated by certain teams, no doubt the more creative ones that are continually finding ways to circumvent the rules.

It helps because Royce is our best player for exactly 15 minutes of the game. He is Gassed at 20 minutes!

I Exaggerate but he is honestly more like a NFL linebacker or something. Benji tried playing him for more minutes and it has ruined him... In true WT style we repeat failed experiments again and again...

Royce is best as a 16th/17th player coming on at the 30 minute mark as a battering ram. Head knock=stay down Royce.

If you go back to earlier in the conversation it was not about Royce it was about TDS trying to milk a penalty.

You and Travis are coming in too late we were commenting on the disadvantages of milking and failing to win a penalty.
You could end up HIA to a spine player that’s where the team would be disadvantaged.

That makes some sense (except our squad where Benji neglects forwards on our bench and has a Center, Hooker and halfback in reserve...for who knows what reason). You don't want a key player out.

Honestly I hate this site sometimes. Going back to the original conversation is clicking through a pile of links... The old site used to sum it up. Often I have no idea who the hell we are talking about (as the case above).

Thinking about it. We need to win on merit, not tricks. Melbourne push the tricks, but their players have a solid foundation already... we need the same first and foremost.

Not wrong about the amount of reading to decipher the full extent of the point someone is trying to get across it can give you a headache.

Only man on the bench I don't like is Murray think we could of gone with a bigger player highlighting our lack of depth.

I don't like this crap where players go down looking for a penalty our a tired forward looking for a HIA to give a team an advantage the NRL think tank need to find solutions and stamp it out.

Deserved a spray sure but not the extent and continuous way Moses did it. The screaming, arm flapping and other elements whilst directly moving towards him whilst play still going on were way over the top.
It wouldn't have been continuous if TDS didn't continually make the doozies he did.
