I'm actually very excited about this signing.
I think he'll be a great purchase, and gives us someone tall to kick to out wide.
Hopefully he can regain his fitness and start playing some footy!

He's not going to lineup against the Cowboys with no match fitness under his belt and some rehab still to do on his knee.

What is the rush to push Ayshford into the forwards? Many on the previous forum got their knickers in knots, because Sheens was pushing backs into the forwards(As quite rightly they should have), but now there are many wanting to push Ayshford into the forwards.
He is young, has a good physique for a centre, has good pace and looks like he could be a good centre, so leave him there.
We have other up-and-coming players in the lower grades, WHO ARE PLAYING IN THE FORWARDS, why not bring them on to play in the NRL forwards?

Nah, that would be just too damn easy :unamused: Let Sheens continue to screw with players attempting to transform them into something their not. I mean, look at Johnny Morris, he turned out to be a great option in the halves for Wests over the last 3 years :laughing: Worked like a charm.
Leave backs as backs, forwards as forwards, halves as halves etc. The make-shift mentality is one main reason why the Tigers have not performed for three consecutive seasons. Let's hope the current Australian Coach can do away with this ideology for once and for all in 2010\. To see specialists playing in key positions next season would be extremely refreshing.

Not only in first grade,,sheens has players playing out of position in the feeder clubs to,and its going to cost Leo a premiership..

Good to hear. I can just imagine him and Tuiaki causing all sorts of damage on the wings next season. I really hope Tupou has a strong off season and gets his knee sorted.

At least he has stepped up, something that some players don't do. Having said that, when Tame is back, I would drop him.
