Taqele Naiyaravoro

arrgh anyone know if this game will be replayed? I forgot to record it

there is a highlight video of Taqele somewhere on Youtube, and apart from all the tries, there are some really impressive signs, good offloads and placement after kicks, those sorts of things that shows he is learning about the game.

I hope we can hold onto him and give him a good run in firsts

just checked and there is a replay on at about 9.30 tomorrow morning on fox sports 1, if anyone else missed it

Im watching the replay right now -

Holy crap he's good - as is Eddie Paea.

I think he'd garner a real cult following, and if he puts on a breakout performance, you'd never see him leave FG.

Just imagine if Tame Tupou got over his injuries and kicked on - we'd have TWO 118+kgs wingers with speed and power.

I agree about Naiyaravoro. He looks like he could do anything, much like Vatuvei.

Paea, however, had some truly woeful moments in defence.

Nayavaro needs a much higher workload. Seems to just be out there for a bit of fun. Massive potential if he can get his attitude and motor right though!

& if Paea ever plays firsts we're going to have 70 put on us. Take the worst defensive parts of Benji, Lui, Miller and Prince, roll them together and you've still got a better defender than Paea!

I think that's true to an extent but it's also a bit deceptive, I think sometimes he's moving pretty fast but it doesn't seem like it because of his big frame

one play he put in a good chase, caught their fullback about 5metres out and threw him backwards towards their line, dragging him over for a repeat set once the rest of the defence arrived.

I agree very much like Vatuvei, he might have a few shockers in his career but could be very devastating

he sure likes to smile too

I agree I said yesterday with big T needs to do the tough stuff coming out if his own end with a but more gusto but his potential is exciting to say the least and I can't wait to see how they integrate him into the top squad and when, later this season if not next.

Yeah, you'd think his coach would be setting him goals of so many hit-ups per game.

Saw the replay of the game this morning. What a great player! The way he runs and his size, he looks like a great future NRL player.

Will be interesting to see how big T backs up after last week's great effort this afternoon. Gonna be a big day in front of the telly, NSW Cup, NYC and first grade on in succession on Fox. A clean-sweep of all 3 would be nice.

McDonnell seems to do a decent job scouting the youngsters but is rubbish with the first grade talent bar Ellis I guess, but I'd be signing this big Fijian p for a few more years

He had nothing to do with getting Ellis here…Mark O'Neill did
