Taupau not happy!

Been watching Taupau over the last few weeks on the field and he just does not look happy at all!

the mail is that the titans want him, for next year. they have heaps of cash and the way JT goes if they want to go there gone, that would be the last straw for me.

Taupau is one of the few good things that happened to the club in the last 3-4 years. He attracts fans and sells memberships. If we can't keep him the board and coach will need to do some serious explaining.

Penrith showed everyone how to shut him down, they got up on him quickly and in numbers, they did a job on him that's for sure.

He'll be gone at the end of next yr. Warriors will offer him a fortune

I doubt they will have the money for him after Luke and RTS. GCT would be a good bet for his next club. But surely to goodness we need to keep him at all costs.

Luke and RTS won't make a difference when it's the yr after and they are able to offload players if they need cap space.

Exactly right,he is a shining light in this darkened cavern of madness, look what Benji done for us as far as selling the Tigers as a team to follow, they loved him so they do Marty..if he goes we are in trouble…

It's not just Taupau, the entire team look unmotivated and disinterested.

I noticed that, whats this shuffling around to get into position instead of a smart jog/run,probaly told it will save energy from the same thinktank wankers that have us in different colours nearly every week.
Penrith shut him(Taupau) down effectively on the W/end. and we didn't have a plan B,same is happening to Austin, getting a lot of attention from opposing Coaches.

The Warriors said that they have money for one more big signing.

Why would he stay at a club that has the WORST finals appearance record over the last 10 years??? With no prospect of this changing…. Outta here!!

We are in a tuff position in regards to Taupau.

He is one of our best week to week , yet probably one of the lowest paid.

The Tigers need to upgrade him ASAP, with a few KPI's

Right, so Inglis and Sam Burgess joined Souths because they were doing so well in the finals, Sezer joined the Raiders because they are dominating, Maloney has joined the Sharks because of all their GF success…

It's $$$, opportunity, location and sometimes loyalty that counts for as much as anything.

This is a stupid thread, let us not dwell on the apparent happiness or frustration of players we don't know personally.

I think there is a tendency on here to think we can't sign or retain players. We definitely can. Its a matter of picking the right ones.

How much better would we be with Austin and Koro still in our team.
