TAUPAU!!!

although i love him (and got into an argument with my dogs mate about how good he is) im gonna break the love fest for taupau.

he's not the best defender, even disregarding this game he makes an okay number of tackles for the miinutes he gets but also misses quite a few. needs to work on that over the season.

imagine if we could combine him with liam fulton… 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth:

Knowing our luck he would a 93 kg player with corn rows who gets knocked out every second week , but has a wonderful sense of humour
 
Kapow and Gavayyyyy are just awesome.

For the first time in about 25 years we have a big,mean and aggressive pack.

I love footy when u have nasty pigs…....its awesome!!

i actually thought about that during the game.

it has to be a bit of a shock for some teams when we make an interchange and this wave of aggression keeps building.
not something you expect from the tigers.

been a very astute signing by potter.

Agree with all the above comments.

Taupau and Gravet have been the missing "x factor" we have been calling out for.

At the start of the season if we were honest with ourselves and said we would be 3 from 5 and our pack would own Souths and Manly you would have been laughted at but that is reality.

Other sides will be taking some serious notice.

For the first time in a long time we seem a very united and happy team.

Individually Thompson, Lawrence, Blair are average but put them in the current team structure and they compliment it.

Blair appears to be playing better with all the Bros in the side.

So proud of the boys. Need to keep it up week in week out.

Resign all the coaching staff now. They have put a big part of this culture change.

Who ever thought playing hard and direct and having 4 forwards on the bench would work. (LOL)
 
This guy is our best signing since Gareth Ellis.

His aggression and power is something we have sorely missed for years and years. It's very visible that the enthusiasm and fearlessness he shows is rubbing off to all of our other forwards. They are feeding off it and we are a much, much better team for it.

The impact he's had can't be understated, what a buy.
 
Even in that last 20mins vs Warriors when we were legless and had no bench left, Taupau and Gavet were still running as hard as ever. I hope Ava isn't missing for long. The bench of Sue Ava Taupau and Gavet is best in NRL

TAUPAU, you are a star in your own right. Keep it up. Together with Gavet we have a persuader and can ask questions againt our opposition.

Agreed, reminds me of Jason Lowrie for some reason not hair wise lol, but aggression wise

Every time I think we are going to lose a game pictures of Taupau after scoring his Try against Titans comes into my mind then all of a sudden I become more confident. The thing about Taupau that I love is the pride he shows while he plays, you can tell he loves the club, it is the same pride Woods, Nofoaluama, Farah, Brooks and Teddy show.
